Reporting Agent
Updated
Overview
As organisations increasingly rely on AI-powered marketing solutions, visibility into marketing performance becomes just as important as content creation itself. While marketing agents can automate ideation, content generation, compliance validation, and publishing workflows, users also need a clear understanding of how these activities contribute to business outcomes.
To address this need, the Marketing Agent introduces a dedicated Reporting Agent experience. The Reporting Agent is designed to provide comprehensive visibility into marketing activities by surfacing meaningful metrics, performance indicators, and utilisation insights through a unified dashboard.
The primary goal of the Reporting Agent is to help users answer three fundamental questions:
- How are AI-generated posts performing?
- How is the brand performing over time?
- How effectively are marketing agents being utilised?
These insights are presented through a standardised reporting dashboard integrated directly within the Marketing Agent experience.
Purpose of the Reporting Agent
The Reporting Agent serves as the analytical layer of the Marketing Agent ecosystem. Rather than focusing on content creation, its purpose is to help users measure outcomes, understand trends, and evaluate the value delivered by AI-assisted marketing workflows.
The reporting experience has been designed around three major reporting dimensions:
- Post Performance Assessment
- Brand Performance Assessment
- Agent Utilisation Analytics
Together, these reporting areas provide a complete view of both marketing effectiveness and platform adoption.
Access Reporting in Marketing Agent
Navigate to Sprinklr Platform > Sprinklr Social > Social Media Agent.
The Social Media Agent screen opens. From the left navigation panel, you can access key features such as New Chat for starting fresh chat, Idea Hub for generating content ideas, Brands to create and manage brands, Campaigns, Asset Manager, Calendar, Reporting, and the Document Center.
Note: The Social Media Agent opens up only when the permission - "Brand Intelligence" is enabled in Roles & Permissions. To enable this permission in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

Understand Your Marketing Performance
The Reporting Agent is delivered as a dedicated section within the Marketing Agent Persona Application.
Users can access Reporting from the left-hand navigation panel alongside other agent capabilities. Selecting the Reporting option opens a standardised dashboard that is common across all users.
The dashboard is organised into three tabs:
- Post Assessment
- Brand Assessment
- Agent Utilisation
This structure enables users to move seamlessly between content-level metrics, brand-level outcomes, and platform usage analytics.
Measure Post Performance
The Post Assessment dashboard focuses on measuring the success of marketing posts generated and published through the Marketing Agent.
The intent is to provide users with visibility into how AI-assisted content performs after publication.
What it Addresses
The dashboard helps answer questions such as:
- How are published posts performing?
- Which posts are generating the highest engagement?
- Are AI-generated campaigns achieving the desired reach?
- What type of content resonates best with audiences?
Benefits
By monitoring post-level performance, marketing teams can:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of generated content.
- Optimise future campaigns using performance insights.
- Identify high-performing content patterns.
- Improve engagement strategies through data-driven decisions.
This reporting capability transforms content creation from a one-time activity into a continuous optimisation cycle.
Track Brand Performance Over Time

While post performance focuses on individual pieces of content, the Brand Assessment dashboard evaluates the broader impact of marketing activities on brand perception.
The purpose of this dashboard is to provide visibility into how a brand is evolving and performing over time.
What it Addresses
The dashboard is expected to help users understand:
1. Brand Sentiment
Measures overall audience perception and sentiment associated with the brand.
Questions addressed include:
- Is audience sentiment improving?
- Are customers responding positively to campaigns?
- Are there emerging sentiment trends that require attention?
2. Brand Awareness
Provides insight into visibility and recognition of the brand.
Users can assess:
- Growth in brand presence.
- Reach across campaigns.
- Changes in audience awareness over time.
3. Brand Engagement
Tracks interactions and engagement generated by brand activities.
This helps teams understand:
- Whether audiences are actively engaging with the brand.
- Which initiatives contribute most effectively to engagement growth.
- Overall effectiveness of ongoing marketing efforts.
Benefits
The Brand Assessment dashboard enables marketing leaders to move beyond content metrics and focus on strategic brand outcomes. Rather than asking, "Did the post perform well?", teams can answer a more important question:
"Is our brand becoming stronger as a result of our marketing activities?"
Monitor Marketing Agent Usage
The Agent Utilisation dashboard is designed to demonstrate how extensively marketing agents are being adopted and used throughout the marketing lifecycle. This reporting area focuses on usage analytics and workflow progression.
Understanding Agent Utilisation
Agent utilisation measures how users interact with various marketing agents and how effectively those interactions progress through the marketing funnel.
The intent is to provide transparency into platform adoption and showcase the value generated through AI-assisted workflows.
Key Metrics
The dashboard is expected to surface metrics such as:
1. Brand Creation Activity
- Number of brands created or configured.
- Adoption of brand-related agent capabilities.
2. Ideation Activity
- Number of queries raised to the Ideation Agent.
- Number of ideas generated.
- Overall ideation volume.
3. Creative Generation Metrics
- Number of creatives generated from approved ideas.
- Conversion of ideas into usable marketing assets.
4. Compliance Validation
- Number of creatives evaluated through compliance checks.
- Progression rates through compliance workflows.
5. Publication Metrics
- Number of approved assets that were ultimately published.
- End-to-end flow through the marketing pipeline.
Track Performance Across the Marketing Funnel
One of the most valuable aspects of the Agent Utilisation dashboard is its ability to visualise the complete marketing workflow.
The reporting experience tracks progression through multiple stages:
- Brand Setup
- Idea Generation
- Creative Creation
- Compliance Testing
- Publication
This creates a clear funnel view that helps users understand:
- Where activities are succeeding.
- Where drop-offs occur.
- Which stages require optimisation.
- How effectively the marketing platform is being utilised.
Understand the Standard Reporting Experience
A key design decision behind the Reporting Agent is consistency.
Instead of creating personalised reports for each user, the team has opted for a standard dashboard architecture that delivers a common reporting experience across the platform.
Benefits of this approach include:
- Consistent metrics across users.
- Easier comparison and analysis.
- Simplified governance and reporting standards.
- Faster onboarding for new users.
Users can access the same dashboard framework while viewing data relevant to the marketing activities being tracked.
