Publishing Agent
Updated
Overview
Publishing Agent helps you transform content created through Social Media Agent into publishable social media posts. It acts as the final stage in the Social Media Agent workflow by taking the brand context, idea, creative assets, captions, and hashtags generated earlier in the workflow and preparing them for publishing.
Publishing Agent automatically compiles content generated through the Ideation Agent and Creative Agent into the publishing experience, allowing you to:
- Create channel-ready posts.
- Preview content before publishing.
- Save posts as drafts.
- Schedule posts for a future date and time.
- Send posts for approval.
Manage published and draft posts from a single workflow.

Navigation to Marketing Agent (Social Media Agent)
Navigate to Sprinklr > Sprinklr Social > Social Media Agent.
The Social Media Agent screen opens. From the left navigation panel, you can access key features such as New Chat for starting fresh chat, Idea Hub for generating content ideas, Brands to create and manage brands, Campaigns, Asset Manager, Calendar, Reporting Dashboard, and the Document Center.
Create a Publish Ready Post from a Content Card
Publishing Agent becomes available after content has been generated in Creative Agent.
Steps to create a publishable post:
- Open a content card generated through Creative Agent (within Marketing Agent).
- Review the caption, assets, hashtags, and channel configuration.
- Select Preview Post from the Content Card to open the Publisher. Note: The context is taken from the selected content card.

- Wait for Publishing Agent to compile the content.
Note:
Publishing Agent automatically carries the selected channel, caption, media assets, hashtags, and language context into the publishing experience.
For example, when previewing an Instagram carousel, all carousel images, captions, and hashtags are automatically mapped to an Instagram post configuration.
Review Post and Take Publishing-related Actions
When you preview the post, it is displayed in a publishing-ready format for the selected channel. Review the content to ensure it is ready for publishing.
Steps for Reviewing the Post:
- Review the generated post preview from the Content Card.
- Verify the caption, media assets, hashtags, and channel configuration.
- Edit the post if required.
Continue with publishing, scheduling, or draft creation.
4.1 Save as draft
To save a draft of your post, click Save a draft at the bottom right corner of the publisher. After saving the draft:
- A draft card appears in the content card conversation.
- The draft becomes a standard publishing entity within Sprinklr.
- The draft is visible in the Editorial Calendar.
The Preview Post action changes to Preview Draft.

Note: Using descriptive draft names helps distinguish multiple drafts created within the same conversation.
4.2 Schedule a post
You can also schedule a post directly from Publishing Agent. To schedule a post, click on Schedule at the bottom right corner of the publisher.
- Choose the publishing date and time.
Confirm the schedule.
After a post is saved as a draft or scheduled, Publishing Agent displays a summary in the chat window with the selected Channel, Language, and Post sent status.
Select View Posts tabe in the summary to open the posts and:
- View the post
- Apply Macro
- Edit
- Delete
- Localize
- Access additional publishing options from the ellipsis menu
Note:
Publishing status: The publishing summary in the chat window reflects the actual publishing outcome. For some channels, manual action may still be required before content is fully published. In these situations, the post can display a status such as Ready for Manual Publish rather than Sent.
Additional information
Account group publishing
Publishing Agent supports account groups. When publishing to an account group, Sprinklr creates an individual post for each account within that group. Selecting View Posts displays all posts generated from that publishing action.
This enables organizations to publish content across multiple social accounts from a single workflow.
Limitations
The current Limited Availability release includes the following limitations:
Only Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X are supported.
Live video posts, LinkedIn polls and X threads are not supported.
