Sprinklr Social: 26.7 Release Notes
Updated
Sprinklr Social is a powerful platform for scaling social media efforts. It offers tools for publishing, engagement, reporting, and more across multiple channels. This release introduces new capabilities designed to elevate customer experiences at every touchpoint, delivering strong business impact.
Advocacy
The following features are introduced in Advocacy for improved experience and efficiency:
New "Read Rate" Metric for Advocacy Email Newsletters
With the 26.7 release, we have introduced a new Read Rate metric in Audience Analytics for Advocacy email newsletters. This is an extended version of Open metric, with which you can now gain deeper insight into whether recipients meaningfully engaged with your newsletter content.
A newsletter is considered Read when one or more of the following conditions are met:
The email remains open for more than 30 seconds.
The recipient performs multiple clicks in the newsletter and even scrolls.
This indicates the email newsletter was actively consumed. This metric offers a more accurate measure of audience engagement beyond simple opens, enabling you to better evaluate newsletter performance and reader interest.
Remove Expired Posts from Content Lists
Content lists can accumulate a large number of assets over time, making them difficult to manage. To help keep lists organized and prevent them from reaching platform limits (an upper cap of 9000 posts), we have added a Remove Expired Posts button that allows administrators to quickly remove expired content.
With the new Remove Expired Posts button, you can:
Remove 100 expired posts from a content list with a single click.
Free up space for new content assets.
Keep content lists cleaner and easier to manage.
Simplified AI Writing Assistant Experience
We have redesigned the AI Writing Assistant to make content creation faster and more intuitive. Previously, you had to select from multiple predefined actions - such as generating content variations, and configure additional options before receiving AI-generated content. This process often required several steps before getting the desired result. With the new experience, the Writing Assistant now uses a chat-based interface that allows you to interact with AI using natural language. Simply describe what you would like to do, and the assistant will understand your request and generate the appropriate response.
Introduction of Advocacy Reporting Copilot
With this release, we are introducing Advocacy Reporting Copilot, an AI-powered assistant designed to help admins analyze reporting dashboards faster and uncover actionable insights with ease.
The Reporting Copilot supports three key use cases:
Dashboard Summarization: Instantly generate summaries of dashboard performance, helping you quickly understand key trends and metrics without manually reviewing multiple widgets.
Insight Generation: Ask questions about your advocacy performance to uncover insights such as top-performing content, the most engaged advocates, and content driving the highest engagement across social channels.
Widget Builder: Create reporting widgets using natural language. Simply describe the data you want to visualize, and the Copilot will help generate the appropriate widget without requiring knowledge of specific metrics or dimensions.
Additionally, a Widget Summarizer is now available on reporting widgets, enabling admins to quickly understand widget-level performance and trends.
Admin Calendar View for Advocacy Posts
We have expanded the Advocacy Calendar experience to help administrators better plan and manage content published on the Advocacy platform.
Previously, administrators could view scheduled Advocacy posts only through the Content Management tab, where all posts were displayed in a list. While this provided visibility into scheduled content, it did not offer a calendar-based view for planning and tracking posts over time.
With this update, administrators can now view Advocacy platform posts in a dedicated calendar view, making it easier to visualize content schedules and manage publishing activities.
What's New
Added a dedicated Admin Calendar View for Advocacy platform posts.
Switch seamlessly between Advocate View and Admin View using a toggle within the Calendar tab.
View all scheduled Advocacy platform posts in a calendar format for improved planning and visibility.
Track post statuses directly from the calendar, including states such as pending approval, scheduled, and shared.
Schedule new Advocacy posts directly from the calendar without navigating to the Content Management tab.
Channels
The following features are introduced in Channels for improved experience and efficiency:
Capture TikTok Comments and Replies from Fan Posts with Brand Mentions
Sprinklr earlier captured TikTok fan posts where a brand was mentioned in the caption, as well as individual comments or replies that included the brand mention. However, visibility was limited to only the specific comment or reply where the mention occurs. With the new enhancement, Sprinklr introduces a new column type that provides full conversation context. When a brand is mentioned in a comment or reply, the platform will now capture the entire parent post along with all associated comments in that thread. This allows social teams to:
View the original post where the conversation is happening
Access all related comments in one place
Better understand context and engage more effectively
This improved visibility helps brands monitor conversations more holistically and respond with greater relevance across social platforms.
TikTok Photo Comment Support
Sprinklr now supports fetching photo comments from TikTok, providing greater visibility into audience interactions on your TikTok content.
Previously, photo comments were not ingested into Sprinklr. With this enhancement, comments that include a photo will now be captured and available for engagement workflows.
Note: For comments that contain both text and a photo, only the text portion of the comment will be displayed in Sprinklr.
Digital Asset Manager (DAM)
The following features are introduced in Digital Asset Manager (DAM) for improved experience and efficiency:
AI Video Generation in Asset Manager and Publisher
Sprinklr now introduces AI-powered video generation across multiple content creation entry points, making it easier to create and publish video content directly within the platform.
What’s New
You can now generate AI videos from the following entry points:
Asset Manager
Quick Publisher
Full-Screen Publisher
Space Platform > Sprinklr Social > Generate Video (additional entry point)
How It Works
You can select Generate Video while creating content, enter prompts, and generate videos directly within the media workflow. Generated videos can then be reviewed and used in publishing.
Usage Limit
To manage system cost and usage, AI video generation is currently limited to 10 videos per user per month.
Note: We have added two new entry points in the Asset Manager for AI-powered content creation: Generate Image and Generate Video. Both options open the media tab, where you can directly prompt the media uploader to create images or videos using Generative AI. The generated assets can then be reviewed and saved to the Asset Manager.
Enhanced PDF Zoom for Annotations in Asset Viewer
Sprinklr now supports zooming assets in the third pane and adding annotations in this new zoomed view. Previously, annotations were not allowed after zooming in on assets, restricting users' ability to add annotations on larger PDFs. With this enhancement, you can now zoom up to 800% into PDF assets before adding annotations, ensuring better precision and readability.
Key Benefits:
Improved precision for PDF annotations
Better readability through zoom controls
Distributed
The following features are introduced in Distributed for improved experience and efficiency:
Bulk Profile Review Configurations
Sprinklr now introduces a Bulk Profile Review Configuration capability, allowing admins to proactively create and manage structured profile review workflows across multiple social channels from a single setup.
Previously, admins had no way to initiate profile reviews proactively. Profile review was entirely reactive - there was no mechanism to schedule, define, or run recurring review cycles across any channel.
With this enhancement, admins can now create recurring profile review configurations from scratch, selecting multiple channels such as LinkedIn and Facebook in a single setup. They can define which profile fields should be included in each review, and the selected channels are clearly displayed within the configuration to avoid ambiguity. This enables structured, large-scale profile governance with repeating review cycles - without requiring manual intervention each time.
Note: This is a Limited Availability (LA) feature. Access is controlled by a DP - PROFILE_MANAGEMENT_V2_ENABLED and will remain hidden by default until explicitly enabled. Once the dynamic property is turned on, the Profile Configurations tab will become visible to users with the required permissions. To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager or submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
Admin Instructions for Distributed Post Assets
Sprinklr now enables admins to add instructions directly to post assets for distributed user, improving guidance during content creation and publishing workflows.
Previously, there was no way for admins to share contextual publishing instructions with distributed users. This often required external communication to clarify content requirements or usage guidelines.
With this enhancement, admins can now add an instruction (description) field while creating post assets. These instructions are surfaced to distributed users during publishing, ensuring they have clear guidance before proceeding with content distribution.
How It Works
Admins can add instructions while creating post assets for distributed users.
These instructions are displayed to the users during publishing as a confirmation prompt.
Users are prompted to acknowledge the instructions before proceeding.
Behavior Based on Configuration (DP Controlled)
When confirmation is required: users must explicitly click Confirm to proceed. Publishing is blocked until confirmed.
When confirmation is optional: instructions are still shown, but users can publish without mandatory confirmation.
Availability
This capability is available only for Distributed partners and is enabled via dynamic property (DP) - DISTRIBUTED_ENABLED during partner setup. To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
Improved Selection Flow for Dynamic Image Templates
Sprinklr has enhanced the Dynamic Image Template (DIT) experience to improve the selection of images in the multi-image template while publishing the content. Multi Image Templates allow you to work with multiple images (for example Carousels, Image Variants with different backgrounds or layouts), commonly used in Social Media Publishing and advertising. With this update, when Distributed Users updates all pages in DIT , all image pages/variants will be selected by default to simplify the initial selection experience. You are now provided with clearer controls to manage their selection.
What’s New
All images in the template are auto-selected by default when Dynamic elements are filled in and Image Template
is created by Distributed User.Introduced “Select All” and “Unselect All” controls for easier bulk selection management.
You can quickly deselect all options and choose only the required images when working with multiple image
versions.
Engagement
The following features are introduced in Engagement for improved experience and efficiency:
Branded Content Conversation Support for Instagram Replies
We have extended Branded Content Conversation support to Instagram Replies, making it easier to identify and manage interactions on branded content posts.
Previously, the Branded Content Conversation flag was available for Instagram posts and comments, but not for replies to those comments. As a result, teams could not consistently filter, route, or report on all conversations related to branded content.
With this enhancement, replies on branded content posts will now inherit the Branded Content Conversation flag and the field is available in the Instagram Replies column for Engagement and Rule Engine workflows.
Key Benefits:
Accurately identify all conversations related to branded content, including replies.
Create more precise filtering and routing rules in Rule Engine.
Reduce noise by isolating relevant fan interactions on branded content posts.
Improve engagement management and reporting consistency across branded content conversations.
Manage Instagram Collaboration Invites in Sprinklr
Brands can now accept or reject Instagram Collaboration Invites directly within Sprinklr, eliminating the need to switch to Instagram native apps.
Instagram Collab posts allow creators, influencers, and partner brands to invite your brand to co-author a post. Previously, brands had to leave Sprinklr and manage these invitations natively on Instagram. With this update, collaboration invites can now be reviewed and actioned directly from the Instagram Tagged Media stream in Engagement.
Key Benefits:
Accept or reject collaboration invites without leaving Sprinklr.
Streamline influencer and brand partnership workflows.
Respond to collaboration requests faster from a centralized workspace.
Reduce reliance on native platform workflows.
Enhanced Facebook System User Management
With the 26.7 release, we have improved the Facebook System User setup experience to make managing eligible pages faster and more efficient. Admins can now easily identify which Facebook Pages are eligible to be moved to a System User through enhanced eligibility visibility. In addition, pages can now be moved to System User in bulk, eliminating the need to perform the action individually for each page.
What's New:
Improved visibility into System User eligibility for Facebook Pages.
Bulk actions to move multiple eligible pages to a System User at once.
Bulk setup capabilities for Facebook Business Manager and Page-level System User configurations.
Key Benefits:
Reduce manual effort when managing large numbers of Facebook Pages.
Accelerate System User setup and migration workflows.
Improve operational efficiency with centralized bulk actions.
Quickly identify pages that are ready for System User migration.
Persistent Checkbox Selection in Engagement Dashboards
We've improved message selection across Engagement dashboards with a new persistent checkbox-based selection experience.
Previously, selecting multiple messages required using keyboard shortcuts such as Shift or Ctrl/Cmd. This could be challenging for teams handling large volumes of messages, as accidental clicks or missed key presses could result in losing existing selections.
With this enhancement, each message now includes a checkbox, allowing you to select and deselect multiple messages independently. Selected messages remain highlighted, making it easier to manage large-scale actions without relying on keyboard shortcuts.
Key Benefits:
Select multiple messages with simple checkbox clicks.
Prevent accidental loss of selections during bulk workflows.
Easily add or remove messages from an existing selection.
Improve efficiency when managing large volumes of engagement messages.
This usability enhancement is available across Engagement dashboards and supports a smoother, more reliable message management experience.
Edit Reddit Post Flair in Sprinklr
You can now edit Reddit Post Flair directly within Sprinklr. Post Flair helps moderators and community members categorize content, highlight topics, indicate post status, and support moderation workflows using visual tags. With this enhancement, you can update post flair without leaving Sprinklr, making Reddit content management more efficient.
Manage Reddit Post Highlights in Sprinklr
Sprinklr now supports Add to Highlights and Remove from Highlights for Reddit posts, making it easier for moderators to feature important content directly from Sprinklr.
Reddit's Highlights feature allows moderators to showcase important posts within a subreddit or profile. With this enhancement, moderators no longer need to switch to Reddit's native platform to manage highlighted posts.
What You Can Do:
Add or remove Reddit posts from Highlights directly within the Engagement Dashboard.
Select the Add to Highlights checkbox while publishing a Reddit post to automatically highlight it after publishing.
Note: This enhancement applies only to Reddit posts. The existing Mark/Unmark as Sticky functionality for Reddit comments remains unchanged.
Update to Reddit “Mark as Mod” (Distinguished Status) Handling
Sprinklr has updated how Reddit posts and comments are identified as “Mark as Mod” (Distinguished) in the Engagement Dashboard to align with Reddit’s latest API behavior.
Previously, distinguished status was determined using a custom property. This has now been replaced with Reddit’s native distinguished status field for more accurate and consistent behavior.
What’s Changed
The system now uses distinguished status instead of a custom property to determine whether a post/comment is marked as “Mod”.
This ensures alignment with Reddit’s updated API response structure.
This update ensures better alignment with Reddit’s latest moderation model while allowing safe rollout through a DP-based toggle to avoid disruption to existing workflows.
Note: Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP)- REDDIT_ALLOW_ADMIN_SPECIAL_TAGS_TO_MARK_AS_DISTINGUISHED.
To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager.
Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
Publishing
The following features are introduced in Publishing for improved experience and efficiency:
Faster Publishing Experience in Quick Publisher
With this release, Sprinklr introduces a Faster Publishing enhancement in the Quick Publisher to reduce time spent on repetitive form filling and improve overall publishing speed.
Earlier, a significant amount of time was spent selecting frequently used values (such as campaign fields and other dropdown selections) while creating posts. To address this, the system now intelligently identifies and prioritizes recently and frequently used selections.
Key Improvements:
Smart suggestions based on the user’s recent selection patterns in dropdown fields.
The system evaluates the last five selections to identify commonly used values.
If a value is frequently used (e.g., appears multiple times in recent selections), it is surfaced as a quick suggestion for faster access.
Helps reduce repetitive manual selection and speeds up post creation in Quick Publisher.
Availability:
Available within the Quick Publisher flow under the Create Post experience.
Access to this enhancement is controlled by a dynamic property (DP) - FASTER_PUBLISHING_ENABLED. To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
Enhanced Reddit Capabilities in Sprinklr
Sprinklr now brings several key Reddit native features into the Engagement experience, helping moderators and community managers manage subreddits more effectively without switching platforms.
This release adds support for capabilities that were previously available only on native Reddit, improving content management, moderation, and communication workflows.
What’s New
Rich Text Support in Comments: You can now use rich formatting such as bold, italics, and other text styles in Reddit comments to communicate more clearly and effectively.
Pin Posts in Subreddit: Important posts can now be pinned within a subreddit, ensuring higher visibility for all community members.
Mark MOD Posts: Moderators can mark posts as MOD to highlight important announcements and distinguish them within the subreddit.
Reply Notification Controls: Authors can now manage reply notifications for their posts, choosing whether they want to receive alerts for incoming replies.
Introducing Conversational Writing Assistant
We are introducing a Conversational Writing Assistant (WA) that transforms content creation into a chat-first experience. Users can save and revisit conversations during a session, scroll through previous interactions while the window remains open, and easily refine content through natural back-and-forth prompts.
To enable Conversational WA, administrators must first enable the existing Writing Assistant dynamic property (DP) and then the Conversational WA DP - CONVERSATIONAL_WRITING_ASSISTANT_ENABLED.
Note: The existing Writing Assistant capabilities remain available, but only one Writing Assistant experience can be active at a time.
Expanded AI+ Alt Text Support Across Channels and Media Types
Sprinklr has expanded AI+ Alt Text capability to improve accessibility and ensure consistent alt text generation across more publishing surfaces, channels, and media formats.
Previously, AI+ Alt Text was available only in limited publishing workflows. With this release, the capability has been extended to broader use cases across Advocacy, All Channels view, and supported publishing experiences.
What’s New:
GIF Support - AI+ Alt Text now supports GIF media assets, enabling automatic generation of descriptive text for animated content. The system provides improved scene-level summarization where applicable to better capture motion-based context.
Expanded Channel Support (Quick Publisher Only) - AI+ Alt Text is now available across additional publishing channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X) and Pinterest.
Platform Compatibility
Alt text generation is validated for platforms supporting alt text with GIF uploads.
No changes have been made to the reply box experience.
Bluesky Publishing Support on Mobile App
Sprinklr now supports publishing Bluesky posts from the mobile app, in addition to the existing web experience. Previously, you could only create and publish Bluesky posts through the Sprinklr web platform. With this enhancement, the same capability is now available on mobile, enabling you to publish content on the go.
Key Benefits
Create and publish Bluesky posts from mobile devices
Improved flexibility for on-the-go publishing
Consistent publishing experience across web and mobile
Improved Reply Context Visibility in Comments
Sprinklr now improves clarity in comment and reply workflows by clearly showing who a user is replying to across all supported social channels.
Previously, in posts with multiple comments and nested replies, it was often unclear which specific comment a user was responding to. This could create confusion, especially in high-volume conversations across channels like Facebook and others.
With this enhancement, the reply interface now explicitly displays the exact user and comment being replied to, making conversation threads easier to follow and reducing ambiguity during engagement.
Key Benefits
Clear visibility of the target user in reply flows
Reduced confusion in multi-threaded conversations
Improved accuracy in social engagement and moderation workflows
Consistent experience across all supported channels
Writing Assistant is Now Generally Available (GA)
With the 26.7 release, Sprinklr’s Writing Assistant is now Generally Available (GA) for all customers and you. The Writing Assistant enables you to create, refine, and optimize content more efficiently using AI-powered suggestions and assistance directly within the publishing workflow.
What’s New
Writing Assistant is now enabled for all eligible users by default.
You can access AI-powered writing support across supported publishing experiences.
Key Benefits
Faster and more efficient content creation
Improved content quality with AI-assisted suggestions
Seamless integration within existing publishing workflows
Conversational Writing Assistant Enhancement
With this release, Sprinklr introduces an enhanced version of the Writing Assistant called the Conversational Writing Assistant, designed to improve the content creation experience with a more iterative and intuitive workflow. Unlike the previous version, you can now view and interact with their ongoing writing history within the same session. This allows them to refine captions and messages step-by-step without losing context, making content creation more flexible and efficient.
This capability is also now available on the Sprinklr mobile app, ensuring a consistent experience across web and mobile.
Key Improvements:
You can view and scroll through their previous inputs and generated outputs within an active session.
Enables iterative editing and refinement of content in a single conversational flow.
Provides better continuity compared to the earlier version, where no history or context was retained.
Limitations:
Conversation history is temporary and is retained only while the session window remains open.
Once the session is closed, the history is not preserved.
This enhancement significantly improves usability by allowing you to experiment, refine, and finalize content more effectively within a single session across both web and mobile.
Note:
Access to the Conversational Writing Assistant is controlled through dynamic properties (DPs). To enable it, first activate the existing Writing Assistant DP, then enable the new DP - CONVERSATIONAL_WRITING_ASSISTANT_ENABLED. To request access or enablement in your environment, contact your Success Manager or submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
Only one writing assistant version can be accessed at a time.
Reporting
The following features are introduced in Reporting for improved experience and efficiency:
Update to LinkedIn Business Post Reach Metric Mapping
This release updates the standard Post Reach metric for LinkedIn Business accounts to align with the newly available native LinkedIn Company Post Reach metric. Previously, in the absence of LinkedIn Business Post Reach support, the metric was mapped to impressions as a proxy. With LinkedIn now providing official Post Reach data, the standard metric definition has been updated to use LinkedIn Company Post Reach instead of impressions. This change ensures consistency with platform-native definitions, improves data accuracy, and removes the need for customers to maintain custom metric mappings.
Direct Profile Access from Reporting Widgets
This update improves the usability and flow of Profile reporting within Sprinklr by introducing a direct navigation capability from Reporting widgets. Previously, users viewing Profile-based widgets could not directly open a profile from the widget itself, requiring them to manually search for and navigate to the profile in a separate step. With this enhancement, you can now directly open a Profile from within any relevant Reporting widget, enabling faster transitions from aggregated insights to detailed profile-level views. This creates a more seamless and connected reporting experience by reducing unnecessary navigation steps.
Audit Visibility for “Edit Sent Post” Permission in Reporting
This release enhances transparency around post-level editing activities performed after content is published via Publishing. Previously, while the system supported the “Edit Sent Post” permission and tracked whether a post had been modified, these actions were not visible within Reporting dashboards, limiting visibility into post-level audit history. With this update, Reporting now exposes detailed audit information for all actions performed under the Edit Sent Post permission, including edits, deletions, and boosts applied to published posts. For each action, you can now view who performed the action, what change was made, and when it occurred, providing a complete and traceable activity log. This ensures that all post modifications made by team members after publishing are fully auditable within Reporting, improving governance, and operational visibility across publishing workflows.
Alerts Customization in Reporting Dashboards
A new enhancement has been introduced to improve flexibility in Reporting Alerts. Previously, alert configurations were restricted to a fixed template, limiting you from tailoring notifications based on their specific needs (e.g., adding custom headers, footers, or contextual details). This meant all alerts followed a standard format with no ability to personalize structure or content. With this update, you can now customize alert notifications while creating or editing an alert on any dashboard widget. Within the Alert Distribution Details section, a new “Customize Mailing Details” option is available, allowing you to customize the alert message structure.
Enhanced Alert Notifications with Contextual Trigger Descriptions
This update improves the clarity and usefulness of alert notifications in Reporting by making them more descriptive and context-aware. Previously, when an alert was triggered, you only received a generic notification containing the alert name and threshold condition (e.g., “Facebook post likes exceeded 20,000”), without any additional context explaining what specifically caused the trigger. With this enhancement, alerts now leverage the optional description provided during alert creation to enrich the notification content. When a description is available, it is included in the triggered alert message to clearly explain the intent or context behind the alert. This helps you quickly understand not just that an alert fired, but why it fired. In cases where no description is provided, the system will intelligently generate contextual information using the configured filters and metric conditions to ensure the alert remains meaningful and interpretable.
Sprinklr Reporting Copilot Enhancements: Widget & Metric Drilldowns
With the 26.7 release, Reporting Copilot expands how users can investigate and understand performance directly from dashboards. In addition to surfacing qualitative insights, Copilot can now be launched from both dashboard widgets and metric drilldowns, making it easier to explore trends, anomalies, and changes in context. Users can ask Copilot questions at the exact point of analysis - whether from a widget or a specific data point in a chart - and receive contextual explanations without manually re-establishing what they are looking at.
Ask Copilot for Metric Drilldown
When you notice a spike, dip, or unusual change in a chart, you can now investigate that specific data point directly from the metric drilldown. Select Ask Copilot from the Metric Drilldown menu to open Reporting Copilot with the relevant context already included, such as the selected metric, the exact date or time range of the change, the dimensions shown in the visualization, and any filters applied on the widget. Instead of manually explaining what you are looking at, you can immediately ask questions like “Why did impressions spike on this day?”, “What contributed to this drop in engagement?”, or “Which segments drove this change?” and start exploring the potential reasons behind the movement. This makes it easier to move from identifying a change in performance to understanding what may have caused it.
Ask Copilot from Dashboard Widgets
You can now ask Copilot questions directly from any dashboard widget while viewing your dashboard. Select the Ask Copilot wand on a widget to open Reporting Copilot with that widget’s context already loaded, including the metrics being displayed, the dimensions used to break down the data, and the selected time range. Since the widget context is automatically passed to Copilot, you can immediately ask questions such as “What stands out in this widget?”, “What trends should I pay attention to here?”, or “Is there anything unusual in this performance breakdown?” without having to describe the data yourself. This helps users explore widget-level performance faster, uncover insights more naturally, and investigate what they are seeing without leaving the dashboard.
