Troubleshooting Checklist Evaluation Failures in Sprinklr Ads Campaigns

Updated

Sprinklr's Ads Campaign QA Checklists are customizable checklists that allows you to define and evaluate critical fields— such as objective, budget, optimization goal, timelines, and ad type — for all campaigns. These checklists help enforce brand governance. However, sometimes the evaluation process may fail. This article outlines the common reasons why checklist evaluations fail and how to troubleshoot them.

Common Reasons for Checklist Evaluation Failure

Your checklist evaluation for Paid Initiatives may fail due to the following reasons:

  • Rules Applied to Paid Initiative Custom Fields: If you apply rules from the Rule Engine to any custom field within a Paid Initiative that conflicts with checklist fields, the evaluation will fail. Sprinklr will display a warning message in such cases.

  • Macros Usage: If you use macros to update or modify custom fields and those changes conflict with the checklist fields, the system will generate a warning and the checklist evaluation will fail.

  • Changes in Budget or Bid Value from Strategy groups: If budget or bid values are modified from strategy groups, and these changes conflict with the values defined in the checklist, the evaluation will fail and a warning will be displayed.

  • Post Evaluation Updates: If you update the campaign either in the native channel or on Sprinklr, after completing the evaluation, the system may not capture those changes. In such cases, you need to click "Evaluate All" to ensure the checklist reflects all recent updates.

Common Reason for ML Engine Failures in Checklist Evaluation

AI checks for your media assets may fail due to the following reasons:

  • File Size Limits: The system doesn’t support images larger than 20MB or videos larger than 250MB.

  • ML Engine Timeout: If creatives include too many media assets, the ML engine may exceed its processing time. The current evaluation system processes assets sequentially and cannot evaluate individual assets in parallel, which can lead to timeouts.
