Building Surveys Using Ask AI+

Ask AI+ is a powerful tool that enables the creation of surveys with AI Assistance. 

This tool goes beyond just generating surveys; it provides essential support in designing the survey structure, selecting the most suitable question types, adjusting the tone and length, and customizing the survey for specific target audiences.

To streamline this process, you can leverage tools like Ask AI+.​​For example: By simply entering the objective of the survey, gathering feedback on a recent onboarding experience, the system quickly generates a structured, context-aware survey with an appropriate tone and question types. You can review the draft, make minor adjustments as needed, and publish it directly through the platform’s customer feedback module.​

With tools like Ask AI+, you can easily generate short, targeted surveys by simply describing the feature or context in a few sentences. This allows you to create professional, well-structured surveys without needing deep expertise in survey design.

With AI-powered assistance from tools like Ask AI+, you can streamline survey creation by significantly reducing the time spent on manual design. At the same time, you gain the flexibility to fine-tune key attributes such as tone, length, and question types, ensuring each survey is tailored to match the needs and preferences of your target audience.

Prerequisites

Access to this module requires the permissions listed below, which are available under roles in the Customer Feedback Management App:

  • ​View: With view permissions, you will be able to access the given feature.

  • Manage: You will be able to add, edit, move, and delete components of the feature.

Steps to create a survey with AI+ Survey Builder

  1. Navigate to Sprinklr Insights and go to Customer Feedback Management. 

  2. Click Create Surveys. 

    ​

  3. Click Build with AI+. 

    ​

  4. Click Next. 

  5. Fill in Survey Details and click Create.

    1. Survey Name: Enter the name of the survey.

    2. Base Language: Select the language of the survey. 

    3. Program: Select Program Location or click Move to move the program to a different location. 

    4. Survey Tag: Optionally, add a tag to the survey. 

    5. Visibility Settings: Set User/User group permissions for you to have access to the survey. 

      ​

  6. Click Ask AI+ to create surveys. 

  7. Click the general survey template of your choice among the suggested Survey Templates.

  8. Once the template is selected and specify the following:

    1. The industry and provide some background information.

    2. Define target audience.

  9. Ask AI+ will generate the survey with the specified constraints. Follow the steps below to create a survey:

Surveys can be created using AI builder in two ways:

  • ​Through Template 

  • Through Prompt

  1. Select template from AI+ builder (in the right pane). 

    ​

  2. Customize the survey as per requirement as per selecting Modify Content, select Target Audience and Regenerate the Survey(Explained in detail below).​

    ​

  1. Click AI+ builder. 

  2. Enter a prompt for the survey that needs to be created under Ask me anything section. 

    ​

  3. Answer follow-up questions asked by the AI to generate the survey. ​

Survey Customizations

Surveys can further customized with the help of Modify Content, Target Audience and Regenerate Option.

Modify Surveys helps to change the length, modify the tone and structure of the page. Let us look into each one of them in detail.

  1. Steps to Change the Length 

    1. Select Modify Content. 

    2. Click Change the Length. 

    3. Select Change the Length in How do you want to modify your content section in the chat window. 

    4. Select Short, Medium or Long to update the survey length. 

      ​

  2. Steps to Modify Tone 

    1. Select Modify Content. 

    2. Select Modify Tone. 

    3. Select Tone (Formal, Casual, Inquisite) from the Choose Tone options to select the tone of the survey. 

      ​

  3. Structure Pages 

    1. Select Modify Content. 

    2. Select Structure Pages (Define the number of questions per page). 

    3. Select the layout of the service out of the 3 options listed below to update the survey structure: 

      1. One question per page. 

      2. All in one page. 

      3. Some in one page.

Target Audience allows users to select target audience. Let us look at the steps in detail.

  1. Select Target Audience Option.

    ​

  2. Select target audience from the pre-defined options or define your own target audience to update the target audience. 

    1. Global Reach, broad audience: Targets global and broad audience. 

    2. National Audience: Country-level audience. 

    3. Specific Audience: Demographic, behavioral and cultural basis. 

    4. Define my Own: User can define their own audience.

       

Users can regenerate the survey if dissatisfied with the survey.

  1. Select Regenerate to refine and recreate the survey.

Note: AI+ Surveys are restricted to English language and lacks advanced customization features (e.g., Question Logics, Placeholder Text), which require manual implementation.
