Spotlight is Snapchat's in house entertainment platform for user-generated content. It’s a great way for Creators to get exposure to the broader Snapchat community. Spotlight highlights quality content from creative folks, regardless of the number of followers.
Converting Spotlight Videos into ads on Snapchat is designed to streamline your marketing workflow. This feature integrates smoothly into your existing content strategy, allowing you to capitalize on the creativity and authenticity of your organic posts for paid promotional purposes.

How to Create Spotlight Videos
Creating compelling Spotlight Videos on Snapchat involves the following steps:

Edit and Fine-Tune: Use editing features to trim, cut, and adjust your video for optimal storytelling. Enhance audio, add captions, or overlay text to convey your message effectively.
Add Music: Incorporate music from vast library to enhance viewer experience. Choose tracks that complement your video’s tone and theme.
Finalize and Publish: Once satisfied with your video, publish it. Ensure your video meets Snapchat’s community guidelines to maximize visibility and engagement.
How to boost Spotlight videos?
There are two ways to boost your spotlight posts -
Via the Engagement Dashboard
Via the Editorial Calendar
Boost from Engagement dashboard
Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, click Engagement Dashboards within Engage.
On the Engagement Dashboard, either create a column to view the organic posts or locate the post in an already existing column that you would like to boost for a particular channel.
Hover over the post and click the Boost Post icon
if you don’t see it there, click on the Options icon and click Boost Post. Alternatively, you can double-click on the post and click Boost Post from the top bar in the Post Overview pane.
4. On the Boost Post window, enter the details. See Boost Post — Field Descriptions.
5. Click Boost in the bottom-right corner of the Boost Post window to initiate the process.
Boost from Editorial Calendar
Click the Editorial Calendar icon
in the top right corner.
Locate the message that you want to boost in the Editorial Calendar.
Click the Options icon
in the desired message you want to boost, and select Open Details to view the message in the right pane. You can also double-click the message to open the message.
On the right pane, click Boost Post within the Overview tab.
On the Boost Post pop-up window, enter the required details. For more information, see Boost Post — Field Descriptions.
Click Boost in the bottom right corner to initiate the process.

Audience | Define the audience targeting for your Spotlight video: Select from predefined options or use Audience Manager to create custom filters based on demographics, interests, etc. |
Budget & Duration | Set the total budget for your Snapchat Spotlight video boost and the duration over which it will run. Choose the budget source and configure any necessary strategy groups for optimization. |
Auto Bidding | Automatically optimize bidding to maximize engagement within your specified budget constraints. |
