PII Masking

PII (Personally Identifiable Information) Masking is the process of concealing sensitive personal data to prevent unauthorized access while maintaining data usability for approved applications. AI+ Studio currently supports PII Masking capability with the following capabilities. 

1. Data Masking

AI+ Studio provides AI-Based Masking and Regex-Based Masking to automatically obscure sensitive data such as personal information, financial details, and location data. This ensures that unauthorized users cannot access protected information while maintaining operational efficiency.

2. User or User Group Based Access Control

Administrators can define user roles and permissions, restricting access to sensitive AI models and data. This ensures that only authorized users can interact with or modify critical configurations.

3. De-Masking Controls

For authorized users, AI+ Studio offers controlled de-masking options to retrieve original data when necessary, ensuring flexibility while maintaining security.

Guardrails in AI+ Studio are a core security and compliance feature that help enforce responsible AI usage. They prevent the generation or processing of content that violates organizational policies, industry regulations, or ethical standards.

You can configure Guardrails to:

• Detect and block harmful content such as violence, child exploitation, and defamation

• Filter custom keywords or phrases using word filters

• Apply controls at both input and output stages of AI interactions

• Set tolerance levels to adjust detection sensitivity based on risk
