Capabilities

1. Summarization

Copilot can generate natural language summaries for:

  • Entire dashboards

  • Specific sections

  • Individual widgets

For dashboards and sections, it reads all available widgets and selects up to 10 of the most relevant insights, based on business impact, uniqueness, and trend visibility, to generate a clear and concise summary.

2. Performance Insights

Ask open-ended questions like:

  • What’s our engagement trend this month?

  • Which post had the highest reach?

  • How are posts mentioning Sprinklr performing this month?

Note: Sprinklr Copilot for Social supports both standalone queries and follow-ups to summaries.

Copilot answers these questions using data from:

  • Within the dashboard: If relevant widgets are present, it uses their data and structure to formulate the response.

  • Outside the dashboard: If no widget directly answers your question, Copilot can fetch data independently from Sprinklr’s backend (limited to Social Analytics), generate a virtual data view, and respond with fresh insights.

3. Qualitative Insights

Copilot now enables drilldowns and deeper research responses, allowing users to move beyond surface-level summaries into detailed analysis. It can examine trends across time, platforms, formats, and audience segments to explain shifts in key metrics. Users can perform root cause analysis to uncover the drivers behind spikes or drops in performance, without needing to manually explore raw data. Copilot also identifies top and underperforming trends and suggests actionable improvements. Additionally, summaries now prompt users to drill down further into specific insights for deeper exploration.

Sample query for your Copilot: As a social media manager, I want the copilot to find best and worst performing trends from underlying data & recommend improvements, so that I can easily prioritize my social media strategy.

4. Helpful Assistant Features

  • Sources: Lists widgets used in responses or notes when virtual data is used

  • Quick Prompts: Pre-set questions to help you get started

  • Chat History & Sharing: Revisit past conversations and share insights externally

5. Widget Creation

Sprinklr Copilot for Social improves reporting with the new Widget Builder feature, enabling users to create reporting widgets through natural language - making data exploration quicker and more intuitive. Previously, when users asked reporting-related questions without an existing widget on the dashboard, Copilot generated results in the backend. Users then had to review the sources and manually add the widget to their dashboard.

Best Practices and Tips

  • Be Specific: Ask about specific and measurable metrics like impressions, reach, or engagement rate to get precise and actionable response.

  • Name Wisely: Use clear, descriptive names for custom metrics and widgets to improve Copilot accuracy.

  • Prefer section summaries for Large Dashboards: For large dashboards, section summaries offer more consistent insights.

  • Try These Sample Queries to Get Started

    • What’s the best time to post on LinkedIn?

    • Which post drove the most comments recently?

    • What’s our outbound message volume trend?

Limitations

  • Data Scope: Out-of-dashboard queries only pull from Social Analytics (not Inbound or Consumption Analytics)

  • Custom Metrics: Copilot can only answer questions involving custom metrics or dimensions if they are already used in the dashboard. It cannot access the complete library of custom fields, to answer queries that are out of dashboard context

  • No FAQ Support: Platform help or feature discovery queries are only supported in the Planner (Editorial Calendar) view at the moment.

  • Response Time: As part of a limited release, responses may take 1–2 minutes, especially for large dashboards. We continuously improving the the response time.
