Ad Delivery Health

Updated

The Ad Delivery Health monitoring and alert system actively tracks the delivery performance of your ad campaigns in real time. It identifies discrepancies and issues such as scheduling changes, approval delays, delivery shortfalls, or unexpected pauses and triggers alerts. This allows you to take corrective actions quickly, ensuring consistent delivery and optimized campaign performance.

In this article, you will learn about the key benefits of the Ad Delivery Health system and the specific scenarios that trigger alerts.

Note: These anomalies and errors are identified using Sprinklr’s proprietary model, they are not generated by GenAI.

Benefits of the Ad Delivery Health Monitoring & Alert System

  • Take Action Quickly: View recommended actions and perform bulk corrections to resolve related issues efficiently.

  • Maintain Campaign Health: Continuously monitor and optimize ad delivery to minimize downtime and prevent performance degradation.

  • Ensure Data Consistency: Identify and resolve inconsistencies across Paid Initiatives, Ad sets, and Ad using clear, quantifiable metrics.

What Triggers an Ad Delivery Health Alert?

The system monitors your ad entities (Paid Initiatives, Ad Sets, and Ads) for specific changes or disruptions. When the system detects an issue, it instantly triggers an alert, which you can access and explore in detail through the Ads Manager Copilot. Below are the key scenarios that prompt alerts:

  1. Start or end date changes: When a start or end date is modified and the change meets or exceeds a configured threshold, the system triggers an alert as highlighted in the image below.

  2. Status changes from native channel or external deletion: If the ad's status is changed directly from the native platform or someone deletes it externally, the system detects the update and triggers an alert with a relevant message.

  3. Ad entity is scheduled but not approved: If an ad remains in a 'Scheduled' state while still awaiting approval beyond the threshold, the system flags the delay and displays an alert indicating that the approval is pending.

  4. Paused for manual review or policy revisions: The system monitors for ads that are paused due to manual reviews or policy revisions. If the pause exceeds a defined threshold, it triggers an alert to prompt action.

  5. Prolonged learning phase: If an ad stays in the “Learning” phase longer than expected, the system identifies this as a potential issue and generates an alert. It also triggers alerts when frequent learning resets occur within a 7-day period.

Example alert message: X PIs, Y Ad Sets, and Z Ads are in the Learning phase from the channel for longer than expected.
