Create and Manage Facebook Product Catalogs

Create catalogs to display information about your products and make it easy for the users to understand your products and services.

A catalog is a container that holds information about the items that you want to advertise or sell. You can create catalogs for different types of inventory, such as hotels, flights, products (e-commerce), and destinations. Product Catalogs give you full control over catalog management where you can configure and customize specific products as required. You can also import your natively created product catalogs in Sprinklr.

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Product Catalog within Plan.

  2. Click Import Product Catalog in the top right corner of the Product Catalog window.Selecting Import Product Catalog from the top right corner of the Product Catalog window

  3. On the Import Product Catalog pop-up window, select a Business Manager from the drop-down list. Next, enter the catalog ids, separated by semicolons, of the catalogs to be imported from the native channel.Selecting your Business Manager from the drop-down and entering catalog ids of the product catalogs

  4. Click Import in the bottom right corner of the window.

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Product Catalog within Plan.

  2. Click Create New Catalog in the top right corner of the Product Catalog window.

  3. On the Add New Catalog window, enter the details of the product catalog. For more information, see Add New Catalog — Field Descriptions.Entering details in the Add New Catalog window

  4. Click Save Catalog to generate the product catalog shell. The product catalog shell has all of your product inventory but, you actually upload the product via product feed.

  5. Hover over the Options icon alongside the desired product catalog and select Manage Catalog.​Managing Catalog within Product Catalog

  6. In the top right corner of the Manage Catalog window, click Add New Feed.

  7. On the Create Feed window, add feed details from which you want to import. For more information, see Create Feed — Field Descriptions.Creating a Catalog Feed

  8. Click Save Feed to create a feed.

Note:

A new column called Product Catalog will be added to the composer, displaying the names of users having permission to that catalog.

Product Sets

You can create sets to feature groups of items from your catalog in ads. You can use filters to quickly create a set of items with certain attributes. For example, all men's t-shirts that are black and in stock can be a set.

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Marketing (Ads) tab, click Product Catalog within Plan.

  2. Hover over the Options icon alongside the desired product catalog and select Manage Catalog.

  3. Navigate to the Product Sets tab from the top dashboard bar and click Add New Products Set.

  4. On the Create Product Set pop-up window, enter a Name and select a Currency for the product set.

  5. Select All or At least one from Match Items for _ of the following rules drop-down menu. This will match all or at least one of the items into your product set from the selected Catalog according to the filter you will set.

  6. Select a filter from the Select Field drop-down menu based on the selected Product Catalog Type. For more information on the available filters, see Product Catalog Filters.

    1. For Products, you can bulk upload products using the Product or Product Name options by clicking the Import icon alongside the Value field.

    2. On the Bulk Actions window, provide semicolon-separated products and click Create to import.

  7. Select an operator from the Operator drop-down menu and a Value as per the selected filter.

  8. Click the Plus icon to include another filter in your product set.

  9. Click Create in the bottom right corner of the pop-up window.

Existing Product Sets can also be edited by switching to the Product Sets tab from the top left navigation and clicking on the three dots, Options icon. Once clicked on Edit, the original rules specified for creating the Product Set (for example, Price greater than 350) will open up as shown.

Additional filters can be added to narrow down the products in the Product Set by adding more conditions. Conditions can be changed in the Product Set.

Basic Information

Catalog Name

Enter the catalog name as desired.

Business Manager

Select the business manager by using the type to search method.

Add People

Add people from the drop-down.

Catalog Type

Select a catalog type from the drop-down.

Associate pixels and apps with the catalog.

Image Transformation

Carousel and Collection Ads

For Carousel, select an option as required from the drop-down.

Single Ad

For Single Ad, select an option as required from the drop-down.

Create Feed — Field Descriptions

Terms

Description

Name

Enter the feed name as desired.

Currency

Select the currency from the drop-down.

Feed Type
Select from the two available options:
Auto-Upload with URL
Feed Url
Provide the URL where your data feed file is hosted. Supported URL types are http, https, ftp, and sftp.
Username

Enter a username if the file is username and password protected.

Password

Enter the password if the file is username and password protected.

Upload Frequency

Select how frequently you would like to schedule the data feed upload from the following options:

  • Daily

  • Hourly

  • Weekly

Select Timezone

Set the timezone as desired.

Upload File Manually

Upload

Click to upload the feed manually from your system. Supported file formats are .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .tsv, .xml.
