Supported operating environments

When setting up the operating environment to work with Sprinklr, please review these requirements:

  • Operating System(OS)

  • (Agent Workspace): Windows 10 / Windows 11 / macOS 10.14+/ Ubuntu/ Citrix VDI

  • RAM: Recommended 8GB of RAM

  • CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 or better/AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or better

  • Minimum i3 processor

  • USB Stereo Headset

  • Sprinklr & webRTC server bypassed from any anti-virus on the agent machine.

  • Browser: Latest Chrome version

Headset configuration

  • We recommend the Stereo Headset as it also helps in playback.

  • Use a USB headset; however, this option consumes resources from your computer. We recommend USB headphones over aux headphones, as the USB ones directly connect to the Motherboard.

  • We do not recommend Bluetooth/Wireless headsets for professional long-term usage:

    • The battery level is a factor in these devices (the lower the battery, the lower the range).

    • Being a wireless device, it suffers from interference from other wireless devices in the area.

    • Bad reception or increased latency is common, which could falsely point to a network issue.

Microphone settings

Make sure the applications have access to the microphone.

Google Chrome browser for optimal voice performance

For enterprises leveraging our Voice Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform, selecting the right web browser can significantly impact the reliability, performance, and troubleshooting experience. Therefore, Sprinklr strongly recommends using Google Chrome as the preferred browser.

Following are the reasons for this recommendation, particularly in the context of real-time communication technologies like WebRTC.

  • Superior WebRTC Support

    • Leading Implementation: Chrome offers the most mature and frequently updated implementation of WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication), the foundational technology enabling voice, video, and data sharing directly in the browser without plugins.

    • Rapid Standard Adoption: Chrome is consistently the first to support new WebRTC standards and features, ensuring compatibility and smoother call experiences.

    • Performance Optimizations: Google, as a principal developer of WebRTC, integrates the latest optimizations for lower latency, higher call quality, and enhanced resilience on unreliable networks.

  • Advanced Debugging Tools

    • WebRTC Internals: Chrome uniquely includes the chrome://webrtc-internals tool, which provides detailed insights into media streams, connection statistics, and underlying troubleshooting data that are critical for enterprise IT teams.

    • Comprehensive Developer Tools: Chrome DevTools deliver extensive monitoring and network analytics, making it easier to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently during support escalations.

  • Proven Enterprise Stability

    • Highest Market Adoption: Chrome’s widespread deployment in enterprise environments indicates compatibility and predictable performance are constantly tested at scale.

    • Regular Security Updates: Frequent security and performance updates minimize vulnerabilities and ensure your communications are always protected.

  • Optimized Resource Management

    • Efficient Memory Handling: Chrome is well-known for its advanced memory management, allowing voice contacts and browser-based agents to operate smoothly even during high volume or multi-tab usage.

    • Hardware Acceleration: Chrome effectively utilizes system hardware for real-time audio processing, reducing CPU load and improving audio quality.
