Publish LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads from Sprinklr

LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads empower business leaders and members to promote their personal posts to a broader targeted audience, helping your brand reach its goals. This ad format strengthens executive branding, builds trust, and drives engagement by leveraging authentic, first-person content.

With Sprinklr, advertisers can now promote approved posts from company members directly through the company LinkedIn account. This article walks you through how to create and publish LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads using Sprinklr’s Ads Composer and Ads Manager.

Publishing Thought Leader Ads from Sprinklr

Using Ads Composer

  1. Open a new tab and navigate to Sprinklr Marketing > Marketing > Ads Composer.

  2. Select the required LinkedIn account.

  3. Set Up Paid Initiative Details tab:

    • Choose a campaign objective: Thought Leader Ads currently support only Brand Awareness and Engagement objectives.

    • Enter a Paid Initiative name or use a naming convention.

    • Select an Ad Format: Only Single Image Ad and Video Ad are supported.

  4. Configure Target Audience and Budget & Schdule:

    • Select an existing audience or create a new one in the Target Audience tab.

    • Set up budget, bidding and schedule details for your ad sets in the Budget & Schedule tab.

  5. Add Creatives

    • Go to the Creatives tab and click Add another creative.

    • In the Select Creatives window:

      • Enter at least 4 characters of the member's name in the Publishing Company Page or Member field.

      • Select the required LinkedIn member from the dropdown.

      • Browse their posts and choose one that is approved for use. You can only select posts that are approved by the member for your creative.

      • To request the LinkedIn member's approval on the post, hover over the ellipsis (...) on the post and select Send for Approval. Once approved, you will be able to select the post for your creative.

  6. Add Advanced Configuration and Optimize

    Before publishing, you can:

    • Add custom properties and third-party tracking in the Advanced Configuration tab.

    • Apply Strategy Groups in the Optimization tab to automate the management of budget distribution, bidding, targeting, and creatives rotation.

  7. Review your Campaign

    In the Review section, check all campaign elements. Once everything is finalized, click Publish in the bottom right corner and choose one of the following options:

    • Publish: Launch your campaign immediately.

    • Publish as Paused: Publish your campaign without activating it.

    • Send for Approval: Submit the campaign for review.

Using Ads Manager

  1. Open a new tab and navigate to Sprinklr Marketing > Marketing > Ads Manager.

  2. Open a draft campaign and select a creative.

  3. Click +Add Existing Creative in the Creative section.

  4. In the Select Creatives window, search for the member name using at least 4 characters in the Publishing Company Page or Member field.

  5. Select the required member and their posts following the same steps as in Ads Composer.

Publishing LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads through Sprinklr allows your brand to amplify authentic, executive-driven content and extend its reach through paid promotion. By following the steps outlined in either Ads Composer or Ads Manager, you can easily select approved posts from company leaders and turn them into impactful ad campaigns.
