Business Use Cases

This feature delivers actionable insights by tracking engagement and response data to uncover trends and improve strategies. It also enhances efficiency with a consolidated view of distribution metrics across all channels, helping you save time and effort.

Prerequisites

In order to access the Distribution, you must have the following View and Edit Distribution permissions at the Survey Level.

Setting Up Distribution

Let's have a look at the steps to set up distribution:

  • Navigate to the Survey Distribution module.

  • Choose the appropriate channel (e.g., email, social media, SMS, WhatsApp).

  • You can access the distribution metrics from the distribution channel page.

  • Survey Opened Count: Number of recipients who clicked on the survey link and opened the survey page.    

  • Survey Engagement Rate: Percentage of recipients who started the survey after opening it. (Survey engagement rate = Survey started count/ Survey opened count)  

  • Survey Abandonment Rate: Percentage of recipients who started the survey but did not complete it. (Survey abandonment rate = 1 – Survey completion rate)    

  • Response Count: Number of recipients who completed and submitted the survey.  

Email/ SMS/ WhatsApp  

  • Eligible Recipient Count: Number of recipients eligible to receive the survey invite after excluding unsubscribed and quarantined from potential recipient count. (includes duplicates) 

  • Invite Failed Count: Number of survey invitations that failed to be delivered. 

  • Survey Opened Count: Number of recipients who clicked on the survey link and opened the survey page.  

  • Response Count: Number of recipients who completed and submitted the survey.  

  • Survey Engagement Rate: Percentage of recipients who started the survey after opening it. (Survey Started Count / Survey Opened Count)  

  • Survey Abandonment Rate: Percentage of recipients who started the survey but did not complete it. (1 - Survey Completion Rate)  

  • Survey Response Rate: Percentage of recipients who submitted the survey out of those who received an invite. (Response Count / Invite Sent Count)  

  • Unsubscribed Count: Number of recipients who opted out from receiving future survey invitations through the opt out link in the distribution sent.

  • Pop-Up: Number of visitors who clicked the "Start Survey" CTA.  

  • Direct Display Pop-Up: Same as Creatives Triggered Count, since the survey opens automatically.  

  • Feedback Button: Number of visitors who clicked the feedback button to open the survey.  

  • Survey Started Count: Number of recipients who began answering the survey after opening it.  

  • Survey Open Rate: Percentage of recipients who opened the survey after creative is triggered. (Survey Opened Count / Creatives triggered count)

FAQs

  • The difference is due to how the Response Count is implemented in each module. The Programs RM syncs response data periodically and may show updates with a delay of up to 1 hour.

  • This is expected behavior, and the counts will align once the sync is complete. It does not indicate data loss or a data discrepancy.
