Creating Instagram Partnership Ads using Partnership Ad Code
Updated
Partnership ads allow advertisers to run ads with creators, brands, and other businesses. The advertiser and partner accounts are featured in the ad’s header and the ads leverage signals from both accounts for improved ranking and incremental performance. By sharing an ad code, an advertising partner can boost the associated post as a partnership ad. Keep in mind that each ad code can be used by only one partner.
In this article, we will guide you on how to publish Instagram Partnership Ad using Partnership ad code from Sprinklr.

Using Ads Composer
Open a new tab and navigate to Sprinklr Marketing > Advertising > Ads Composer.
On the Create new Paid Initiative window, select a verified Facebook Ad Account.
Set the Paid Initiative Details, Target Audience, and Budget & Scheduling for your ad. For more information, see Compose Facebook and Instagram Ads.
In the Creatives tab, click +Add another creative.
In the Select Creatives window, click the Partnership Ad Code option in the top right corner.
In the Partnership Ad Code field, paste the ad code/post URL. This will set the first identity of the partnership ad and will use the media associated with the code/post. The system will then display a message to notify if the code/post URL entered is invalid or if it's verified successfully.
Once Sprinklr fetches the post to collaborate on, choose the Facebook/Instagram pages you want to display as the Second Identity. The page that you select here will appear to the users as the second account in the ad's header. The First Identity is set based on the partnership ad code of the post and cannot be changed.
Next, select the identities to display on the ad's header. You can select from the below options -
Renders both provided identities (Default): Displaying the first and second identities showcases your partnership and cross-promotes accounts.
Renders only the first identity: Displaying only the first identity lets you leverage your partner's voice.
System dynamically selects identity: Allows the system to automatically optimize for the most performant option between single identity and dual identity.
Note:
You can switch the order of the displayed identities.
The System dynamically selects identity option currently only optimizes on Instagram.
For unsupported placements and in the UK, both identities will be shown regardless of your selection.
After entering all required details in the Partnership Ad Code pop-up, click Submit to save the creative.
Note: Due to API limitations, the creative preview is currently not available during ad creation. It will appear only after the ad is published.
Refer to the image below for an example of how the preview appears post-publish.
