Add an Account (Distributed Users)

This article helps you with the steps for adding an account to the Distributed platform. This helps to manage all your activity across social media and messaging accounts from a single platform. A user can add multiple accounts across the same as well as different channels on the Distributed platform. Mostly all accounts can be added to Sprinklr with username and password only. However, for every account, the user will need to authenticate via specific social channels.

To Add an Account on Sprinklr Distributed

  1. Log in to the Distributed environment.

  2. Click Profile icon in the navigation bar. Select Settings.

  3. Click  Accounts on the left pane of settings.

  4. Click Add Account next to the social channel that you would like to add an account for.

  5. The social channel login window opens. Enter username and password.

For instance, if you try to add an Instagram account, make sure that it is a business account. After you click Add Account, a pop-up will appear, so that you can verify your Instagram business account. Enter the Instagram Handle and click Check in the bottom right corner. 

To Edit Account Properties on Sprinklr Distributed

  1. Log in to the Distributed environment.

  2. Click Profile icon in the navigation bar. Select Settings.

  3. Click Accounts on the left pane of settings.

  4. Click the Options icon corresponding to the account you want to edit and select Edit Account.

  5. A screen with all the Accounts Properties pops up and you can make changes to the properties and click on the Save button.
