Recording Schedule Manager

The Recording Schedule Manager is the centralized dashboard where you can view, create, and manage all recording schedules in your Sprinklr environment. From this dashboard, you can:

  • Review all configured recording schedules.

  • Create new schedules to define when recordings should take place.

  • Edit existing schedules.

  • View Audit Trail to track all changes made to the policy, including the user who made the change and the timestamp.

Use the Recording Schedule Manager to maintain consistent and predictable recording practices across your organization.

A Recording Schedule defines a calendar schedule that determines the eligible days and times for recordings. Recording schedules help manage expectations and notify agents when recordings are active.

Create a Recording Schedule

To create a new recording schedule:

  • Navigate to Recording Schedule Manager.

  • Select + Create Recording Schedule at the top right.
    The Recording Schedule Configuration page opens.

The configuration page is divided into two sections: Overview and Recording Schedule Details. Fields marked with a red dot are required.

Overview

Enter the following fields in the Overview section:

  • Recording Schedule Name (Required): Enter a unique name for the schedule.

  • Description: Provide a short description to help identify the schedule.

Recording Schedule Details

Configure the following fields in the Recording Schedule Details section:

The Schedule Type determines how the recording days and times are applied. You can select one of the following:

  • All Days: The schedule applies to all days within the configured date range. You can also define a custom time range.

  • Custom: Create one or more recording day lists, each with a specific start and end date and time, for a selected time zone.

Configure All Days Schedule Type

If you select All Days as Schedule Type, configure the following fields:

  • Timezone: Select the time zone for the schedule.

  • Start Date: Enter the date when the schedule becomes active.

  • End Date: Enter the date when the schedule ends.

  • Custom Time Range: Toggle On to configure recording for a specific time range.

When you enable a custom time range, a time grid appears:

  • Columns represent the time of day, divided into 30-minute intervals.

  • Rows represent the days of the week.

To assign recording times:

  • Click individual cells to select them.

  • Click and drag across multiple cells to select a block of time.

A sub-menu appears with the following options:

  • Deselect: Remove the selection from the chosen cell.

  • Clear Day: Clear the schedule for the entire day.

  • Edit Time: Open the Select Time Range screen. Enter custom start and end times for the selected day, then select Save.

  • Delete Period: Delete the selected time range created through multi-cell selection.

Configure Custom Schedule Type

If you select Custom as Schedule Type, configure the following fields:

  • Timezone – Select the time zone for the schedule.

  • + Recording Days List – Add a new recording day list.

  • Start Date with Time – Enter the start date and time.

  • End Date with Time – Enter the end date and time.

Repeat the steps to create multiple day lists if needed.

Save the Recording Schedule

After entering the required details:

  • Select Save at the bottom right corner to save the recording schedule.

The new schedule will now be available in Recording Schedule Manager for use in recording policies.
