Scheduler Engine V/s Triggers

Updated

In Sprinklr, there are two main components for automating actions: Rule Triggers and the Scheduler Engine. Here are the major differences between the two:

  • Rule triggers are a powerful tool that can be used to create automated workflows based on specific events. For example, you could create a rule trigger that sends a notification to a team member when a new message is received in a channel.

  • The scheduler engine is a simple tool that can be used to run automated workflows on a schedule. For example, you could use the scheduler engine to run a workflow like executing a particular message through a rule.

  • The Scheduler Engine is used to schedule actions like triggering a rule based on your configuration. The Scheduler Engine allows users to set up their workflows and execute rules directly without the need of satisfying a particular condition unlike triggers.

  • On the other hand, Triggers in Sprinklr's Rule Engine are used to automate workflows based on specific conditions or events. Triggers can be used to initiate actions such as sending automated responses, assigning cases to specific teams or agents, or creating alerts when specific conditions are met. Triggers can be set up to activate when a specific event occurs or when a specific condition is met.
