Set Signature using Autofill Rule
Updated
You can use the Set Signature action in the Rule Engine to create an autofill rule that dynamically updates your signature in real time. This feature automatically updates the signature whenever custom fields, account information, or other data change, even if a signature has already been added. This ensures every message always includes the most accurate and up-to-date signature.
Prerequisites
Note: Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
Also, ensure that a signature template has been created in the Digital Asset Manager (DAM). When creating the rule, you will be required to select a signature template.
Steps to Create Set Signature Rule
To create an autofill rule for setting a signature, follow these steps:
Note: If you are setting up an autofill rule for the signature, it will take precedence over any signature selected at the account level (from Profile > Manage Signatures). Therefore, it is recommended to use autofill rules only when managing signatures dynamically through rules and avoid setting signatures manually from the Manage Signatures page to prevent conflicts.
1. Click the New Page (+) icon to open the Launchpad.
2. Under Platform Modules > Collaborate, click Rule Engine.
3. In the top-left Dashboard dropdown, select Autofill for either the customer or workspace.
4. In the top-right corner, click Create New Rule.
5. Add the necessary details and click Next.
The Context must be set to Autofill.
7. Configure the conditions to trigger the rule.
8. Set the action to Change properties of Message > Set Signature to define your dynamic signature.
Then, click Choose Template to select a signature template from DAM, and click Add to apply it.
9. Click Save or Enable Rule to activate your new rule.
