Social Copilot Capabilities in Reporting Dashboards

Updated

Overview

Sprinklr Copilot on the Reporting screen helps you analyze performance, summarize dashboards, and get platform assistance — all through natural language. It supports two core capabilities: Reporting (insight generation) and Sprinklr Assist (product guidance). Simply ask a question or type your query, and the Copilot will assist you in real time using dashboard data and platform knowledge.

What You Can Do with Copilot

1. Reporting: Summaries & Performance Insights

Copilot helps you uncover key insights from your social data. You can ask both open-ended and specific questions related to your dashboard.

Key Use Cases:

  • Summarize entire dashboards, specific sections, or individual widgets.

  • Track performance trends across metrics like engagement, reach, impressions, video views, etc.

  • Identify best/worst-performing posts, accounts, or content types.

  • Analyze anomalies or spikes in data and uncover causes.

  • Compare performance across platforms, time ranges, or campaigns.

Query Examples:

  • “Summarize this dashboard”

  • “What’s driving the spike in reach last week?”

  • “Which social network performed best for engagement this month?”

  • “Top-performing posts by video views on Instagram”

  • “Compare July and August performance for the Summer campaign”

Copilot intelligently uses your dashboard widgets when available. If not, it builds a virtual data view from backend metrics and delivers an answer — even if the metric isn’t plotted.

2. Sprinklr Assist: Platform Help & FAQs

If you’re looking for guidance on using Sprinklr features, Copilot can assist right from within the dashboard.

Ask things like:

  • “How do I create a dashboard?”

  • “Can I schedule a report for stakeholders?”

  • “What’s the best way to tag campaigns?”

  • “How do I lock widgets from editing?”

Copilot will respond with contextual instructions and links to help articles, so you never have to leave the screen.

Best Practices for Effective Use

  • Use clear metric names: When asking about plotted metrics, make sure names are self-explanatory and understandable to anyone using the dashboard.

  • Prefer section summaries for large dashboards: The Copilot selects the top 10 insights, so section-wise summaries give more consistency for dashboards with many widgets.

  • Be social-reporting specific: Limit your questions to Sprinklr’s social data and reporting scope for best results.

  • Leverage feedback buttons: Use Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down after every response to help us improve Copilot.

  • Avoid off-scope queries: Copilot won’t respond to general LLM prompts like "Tell me a joke" or unrelated questions about world events, politics, or outside platforms.
