Platform Usage Report

The platform usage report provides insights into the key activities with the system, including any modifications to the account, workflow configuration, user addition, usage, and dashboard export. It sets user account changes, such as settings, permissions, or roles, ensuring user management and governance. In addition, it captures modifications to workflows that help automate tasks and maintain operational efficiency. The report also monitors the addition of new users, detailing who added them and the roles assigned, offering insights into user growth and distribution. Furthermore, it records the usage of reporting dashboards, showing which reports are most accessed. It tracks data exports, ensuring compliance and security by providing a detailed log of data extraction activities. Overall, the platform usage report allows administrators to analyze system activities, optimize usage, and maintain security and compliance.

Business Use Cases

The platform usage report provides the following use cases:

  • Governance at account and dashboard level: This report offers detailed insights into both account-level and agent-level activities, generating a comprehensive activity log. It also provides dashboard-level logs, enabling a deeper analysis of activity types and dashboard modules at the workspace level by each agent.

  • Export Usage: This section provides administrators with key export details, including who performed the export, the export type, and when and where it was saved.

Dashboard Sections

  • Account Activities: Account activities offer detailed insights into the agents performing specific actions, including the type of activity, such as viewing, editing, or updating a user or dashboard. This information is tracked at asset levels (e.g., dashboard or user) and workspace levels.

  • Reporting Dashboard Usage: The Reporting Dashboard Usage feature provides detailed information about agent activities related to reporting dashboards, such as viewing, updating, creating, or downloading a dashboard. It also includes details about the dashboard module and the workspace to which the dashboard belongs.

  • Export Usage: Export Usage provides details on the type of export, associated dashboard information, and the export URL.

  • Miscellaneous: The Miscellaneous section provides end-to-end details of agent-level activity types across all assets within a workspace.

Name

Description

Activity Date

Indicates the date timestamp when the activity took place.

Agent

The sprinklr user for whom the report is being generated.

Asset

Name of the asset which is associated with the activity like dashboard name if the dashboard was viewed/edited/updated, user name if the user was viewed/ added/ deleted etc.

Asset ID

ID of the asset which is associated with the activity like dashboard ID if the dashboard was viewed/edited/updated, user ID if the user was viewed/ added/ deleted etc.

Workspace

Indicates the workspace to which the data is associated with.

Activity Type

Indicates the type of the activity performed like if user was viewed, edited or dashboard viewed, edited, updated etc.

Activity Group

Defines the group to which the activity is a part of.

Activity ID

Indicates the unique ID associated to each activity performed/ done.

Activity Count

Measures the count of different activities performed by the agents.

Indicates the workspace to which the data is associated with.

Activity Type

Indicates the type of the activity performed like if user was viewed, edited or dashboard viewed, edited, updated etc

Activity Group

Defines the group to which the activity is a part of.

Activity ID

Indicates the unique ID associated to each activity performed/ done

Dashboard Module

Indicates the type of dashboard module if it is listening, engagement, work force management or care dashboard.

Activity Count

Measures the count of different activities performed by the agents.

Below are the metrics for export usage:

Name

Description

Start Time

Indicates the timestamp when the export was triggered or commenced.

Owner

Depicts the owner or the creator of the scheduled export configuration. If the owner is deactivated, it shows the backup user of the owner assigned.

Export Type

Indicates the file format or type in which the scheduled export is sent.

Export Name

Indicates the name of the scheduled export as mentioned in the environment.

Dashboard Name

Indicates the name of the dashboard whose export is sent out.

Destination

Depicts the name of the destination where the export is sent.

Export Count

Measures the count of exports dispatched. (When used with the above dimensions, always displays a count of 1).

Export URL

This is the download link of the export file, identical to the one received in user notifications. If the user clicks on the url, the same export that is sent out is downloaded again.

Status

Depicts the status of the export indicating whether the export succeeded or failed.
