Sprinklr Social: 26.1 Release Notes

Updated

Sprinklr Social is a powerful platform for scaling social media efforts. It offers tools for publishing, engagement, reporting, and more across multiple channels. This release introduces new capabilities designed to elevate customer experiences at every touchpoint, delivering strong business impact.

Advocacy

The following features are introduced in Advocacy for improved experience and efficiency:

Introducing Delegate Management in Advocacy Site

With this release, we are introducing Delegate Management, a feature that lets executive-level users stay active in advocacy programs without managing every post themselves. This functionality allows assistants or social media managers to share content on behalf of executives while maintaining authenticity.

Eligible users can assign delegates through a permission-based workflow under Roles & Permissions. A dedicated widget with search makes it easy to select the right delegate and choose which social channels they can manage.

Currently, delegation supports LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok, without requiring credential sharing. Once configured, delegates receive a secure request to post on behalf of the executive, ensuring a seamless workflow and consistent online presence.

Integrating New LinkedIn API in Advocacy

LinkedIn has launched a new API, and our platform now supports all updated LinkedIn metrics directly from LinkedIn, replacing previous internal calculations. This includes Impression, Members Reached (unique impressions), Reshare, Reaction and Comment. These updates ensure more accurate, platform-verified reporting within Advocacy.

New AI+ Feature Controls in Advocacy’s Admin Console

A new AI+ Features section is now available in AI+ Studio across all Sprinklr Platform screens, including Advocacy. Admins can use this centralized panel to control where AI+ capabilities appear on the Advocacy site, such as the on-site admin publisher, external publisher, and suggest content screens, offering clearer and more flexible feature placement.

Note: You can access AI+ features by navigating to AI+ StudioFeature Access Management to open up the AI+ Features Record Manager, where all AI+ related options across modules, product suites, and input modalities are listed. To activate a specific AI+ feature, simply click the vertical ellipsis next to the selected AI+ option and enable it.

New Filter and Dimension in Advocacy Reporting

We’ve added a new reporting capability to help admins easily identify whether a post has been deleted within the Space environment. The new dimension and filter, “Is Actual Post Deleted,” provides a True/False value based on the actual post’s deletion status.

  • True → The post has been deleted, though its data is still retained for reporting.

  • False → The post continues to exist in the Space environment. This dimension is available both as a filter and a plottable field, and can be used alongside Actual Post, Shared Post, and Activity Object in reporting widgets.

New Filter Support in User Suggested Content Management

We have enhanced User Suggested Content Management with advanced filtering to help admins review and act on submissions faster.

Filters are powered by Screener questions. Any field marked Display as filter in UGC will appear in both the Suggested Content dialog and filter panel, enabling admins to approve, reject, or publish suggestions based on attributes such as region, department, or other configured criteria.

Save as Draft Option for External Posts

We have introduced a Save Draft feature for external posts on both the Web platform and Sprinklr Extend App. Previously, navigating away from the post creation screen meant losing progress. Now, you can save unfinished posts and return anytime. When closing a post, a popup lets you Save Draft or Exit without Saving, with drafts retained for seven days. A Save as Draft button in the creation window allows instant saving with a confirmation toast. When reopening the Create External Post screen, you will be notified if a draft exists and can resume or start fresh. Drafts are stored per user and remain available in the same browser or mobile session until published or expired, ensuring a smoother, interruption-free experience.

Asset Management

The following features are introduced in Asset Management for improved experience and efficiency:

Enhanced Preview for Email Marketing Templates in Asset Manager

We have refined the preview experience for Post Assets tied to Email Marketing templates in Asset Manager. The earlier compact preview displayed under Details has now been replaced with a maximal preview, which is identical to the one shown when selecting Edit Asset on an asset card. This improved preview allows you to view the complete template layout, including the header, subject line, body, and footer, without entering edit mode.

Note: Access to this feature is controlled by the dynamic property:<DAM_EMAIL_POST_ASSET_TEMPLATE_PREVIEW_ENABLED>. To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

Distributed

The following features are introduced in Distributed for improved experience and efficiency:

Reddit Support Now Available in Distributed

We are excited to announce that Distributed now supports Reddit, extending the capabilities previously available in Space platform. With this update, users can seamlessly publish to and engage with Reddit communities directly from Distributed, enabling broader reach and engagement.

Key Highlights:

  • Post content to Reddit alongside other supported channels.

  • Maintain consistent workflows for scheduling and publishing.

  • Leverage Distributed’s for monitoring and engaging with Reddit communities efficiently.

  • Key Updates:

  • Search & Refresh: Added a search bar and a refresh button for quick navigation and data updates.

  • Sorting & Positioning: The DCP now appears at the top of the list. Sorting options added for Name, Created On, and Last Modified columns.

  • Added Description field

  • Removed sorting for User Groups and Number of Widgets.

Adding Channel Filter in Unresponded Messages Widget in Homepage

We have introduced an important enhancement to the Missing Engagement widget on the Distributed Homepage.
Previously, this widget displayed unresponded messages from all channels without any filtering options, making it difficult for users to focus on specific platforms.

What’s New:

  • Added a Channel Filter to the Missing Engagement widget.

  • Users can now select a specific channel (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn) to view only the unresponded messages for that channel.

  • This update improves usability and helps teams prioritize engagement on the platforms that matter most.

This enhancement ensures better control and visibility when managing engagement across multiple channels.

Engagement

The following features are introduced in Engagement for improved experience and efficiency:

LinkedIn Events - Engagement Integration

Sprinklr now supports fetching LinkedIn Events, ensuring that any event created on the LinkedIn platform is seamlessly ingested and displayed within Sprinklr. With this enhancement, event posts will appear correctly across relevant modules, just like other LinkedIn content. Additionally, new Message Subtype: Event and Media Type: Event has been introduced. This allows you to easily identify and filter poll-based posts using themessage subtype filter, helping streamline workflows such as analytics, moderati on, andcontent review

Support for Threads Polls in Sprinklr

Sprinklr now supports fetching Threads Polls, ensuring that any poll created on the Threads platform is seamlessly ingested and displayed within Sprinklr. With this enhancement, poll posts will appear correctly across relevant modules, just like other Threads content. Additionally, a new Message Subtype: Polls has been introduced. This allows you to easily identify and filter poll-based posts using the message subtype filter, helping streamline workflows such as analytics, moderation, and content review.

Google Deprecates My Business Question and Answer API

Google has announced the discontinuation of the My Business Q&A API effective November 3, 2025. As a result, Sprinklr will no longer support Q&A capabilities for Google My Business after this date. This means you will not be able to read questions, post answers, or perform any channel-related actions tied to the Q&A API. For more details, please refer to Google Capabilities and Limitations.

Audit Trail for Engagement Dashboard Columns

We have upgraded Engagement Dashboards to provide better audit trails, ensuring a consistent experience when modifying columns and tracking changes.

The update introduces an enhanced Activity Pane, showing detailed history of edits, additions, deletions, and version updates, along with who made each change and when.

We have also added version actions, allowing you to:

  • Create a copy of any previous dashboard version

  • Restore a prior version

Support for Querying LinkedIn Webhook Notifications

We have added a fallback mechanism to improve the reliability of ingesting LinkedIn mentions into Sprinklr. Previously, mentions relied solely on LinkedIn’s webhook notifications, which could occasionally fail due to technical issues.

The new process uses manual verification to detect and retrieve any missed notifications. This ensures no critical mentions, such as negative brand references slip through, providing greater accuracy and timely visibility.

Social Engagement: Feature- and User-Level Control for Comment Summarization

The Comment Summariser feature, which was previously controlled through a standalone permission, can now be managed centrally via Sprinklr AI Studio / AI+ Features for easier governance and feature-level control.

Admins can enable or disable the Comment Summariser at the feature level and restrict access to specific roles or user groups directly from AI Studio. When a partner migrates to this new control model, all users who previously had access to the Comment Summariser will automatically retain their access, ensuring no disruption to existing workflows.

Facebook System User on Client’s Business Manager

We are introducing a new way to connect Facebook pages to Sprinklr using System User–based access, reducing the risk of pages deactivating when individual employees change or lose access. This keeps your customer care, publishing, and reporting workflows running with fewer disruptions, while your security team retains full control because the System User lives in your Business Manager (Sprinklr is not added as a partner).

Note: This feature is in Limited Availability and is currently supported only for Facebook pages.

Publishing

The following features are introduced in Publishing for improved experience and efficiency:

Integration of LinkedIn Events into Sprinklr

We have introduced support for LinkedIn Events within Publishing in the Sprinklr platform, bringing full parity with LinkedIn’s native event creation workflow. Previously, you could publish only standard LinkedIn posts from Sprinklr. With this enhancement, you can now create and publish LinkedIn Events (both in-person and online) directly from the platform.

When creating a LinkedIn post in Sprinklr, you will now see Event as a message type. Selecting this option updates the composer to match LinkedIn’s event fields, allowing you to:

  • Add an event cover image

  • Specify whether the event is online or in-person

  • Enter event details such as name, description, date & time, venue (and in case of Online event, link of the event where it's being hosted)

  • Once published, the event appears on LinkedIn exactly as if it were created natively.

Additionally, event-level engagement and reporting metrics will be available across engagement and reporting modules, enabling you to track performance just like any other LinkedIn post.

Auto Media Optimization Extended to Threads

We have expanded Auto Media Optimization capabilities to include Threads, based on growing customer demand. Previously, Auto-Video Optimization was supported only for Facebook, Instagram, X (erstwhile Twitter), and LinkedIn, while Auto-Image Optimization was limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. With this update, the platform now supports both Auto-Video Optimization and Auto-Image Optimization for Threads, enabling seamless media adjustments and improved content performance across this channel.

Automatic Control of DMs While Replying on X

You can now control whether you receive direct messages (DMs) from accounts you reply to on X (erstwhile Twitter). Previously, this had to be managed manually. With this update, when replying to a comment on a post, you can choose to allow or block DMs from that specific account by checking or unchecking the Enable Private Messaging checkbox. This setting respects the account’s overall DM preferences (e.g., receiving DMs from followers only, everyone, or no one). The new functionality is automated through the Rule Engine, providing a seamless way to prevent unwanted DMs without additional manual steps.

Publish IG Videos Longer Than 90 Seconds

Sprinklr has updated its Instagram video publishing limits to align with Instagram’s official guidelines. Previously, videos longer than 90 seconds were not supported, but Instagram now allows longer durations depending on the format. Reels can be 3 seconds to 15 minutes, Story videos can be 3 to 60 seconds per clip, and Feed/ Carousel (single video or video slides in carousel) can also range from 3 seconds up to 15 minutes. These updated validations ensure that Sprinklr users can publish Instagram videos in compliance with native platform limits.

Enhanced Approval Visibility in Quick Publisher

Publishing Managers now have improved visibility and control over post approvals in Quick Publisher (QP). Auto-approvals set via rules are visible while creating a post, allowing managers to set, modify, or reassign approvals based on admin team availability. Key Updates include:

  • Approval Path View: You can hover over the new View icon in the dropdown to see approvers quickly. Pre-filled fields show the icon by default.

  • Show More Functionality: Tiers with more than 2 users or approval paths exceeding 3 tiers display ‘+N more’ to summarize additional approvers.

Increased Maximum Collaborators for Instagram Posts

With this release, Instagram posts can now include up to 5 collaborators, up from the previous limit of 3.

Enhancements in Copilot and Sprinklr AI+

This release introduces key improvements across Copilot and Sprinklr AI+ to enhance search, filtering, and image generation capabilities:

  • Search in Copilot Chats: A new Search tab enables you to locate chats and conversations efficiently by searching within chat titles and content.

  • Keyword Search in Planner: The Editorial Calendar now supports keyword-based searches, improving content discoverability and enabling precise planning.

  • Advanced Filters in Planner Queries: Enhanced support for AND/OR logic filters ensures filters persist correctly, providing a consistent and reliable experience.

  • Revamped Generate Image in Sprinklr AI+: The image generation feature now offers a full-screen conversational interface, editable images, customizable variations, multi-model support (OpenAI GPT Image and Adobe Firefly), and improved preview and download options.

Enhanced Generate Thumbnail Feature in Publisher

The Generate Thumbnail feature has been enhanced to provide more flexibility and creative control. Previously, the feature used AI to automatically select the best frame from the video based on predefined constraints. With this enhancement, users can now write a custom prompt to generate an entirely new image, which can then be used as the video thumbnail. This update extends the functionality beyond selecting existing video frames, allowing for AI-generated thumbnails based on user-defined prompts, similar to the image generation experience in Sprinklr AI+.

Publishing 3:4 Aspect Ratio Images Now Supported on Instagram

With this release, we have added support for publishing 3:4 aspect ratio images on Instagram.

Reporting

The following features are introduced in Reporting for improved experience and efficiency:

CreatorIQ Integration with Sprinklr Reporting

Sprinklr now integrates with CreatorIQ, giving you a unified view of influencer, owned, and paid social data in one dashboard. Easily track campaign performance, compare paid vs. organic results, and apply advanced filters for deeper insights. This integration simplifies workflows and ensures accurate reporting for all your influencer marketing efforts.

Facebook (Views Metric & Impressions) Deprecation and Meta (API Version) Deprecation

Starting November 15, 2025, Facebook will deprecate Impression metrics along with several others as part of its latest platform updates. These metrics will remain visible in Sprinklr for historical reference, but no new data will be populated after the transition.

Additionally, Meta will deprecate API version v18.0 on January 26, 2026. All Facebook and Instagram endpoints, including Graph API, Videos API, and others - must be migrated to the latest version to ensure continued functionality and compliance with Meta’s updates.

LinkedIn Event Management – Reporting Integration

LinkedIn has introduced APIs for publishing, engaging, and reporting on Events, and Sprinklr now supports these capabilities in reporting. New dimensions - Title, Description, Start Date & Time, End Date & Time, Event Type (Virtual or In-Person), Organizer, and External Event Link are available in POST_INSIGHTS and POST_INSIGHTS_TREND. A new message type, LinkedIn Event has been added, and Post Insights jobs will process these events like other LinkedIn posts. No new metrics are introduced; existing LinkedIn metrics such as Likes, Comments, Shares, Impressions, Engagement Rate, and Clicks will now apply to events for consistent reporting.
