Sprinklr Social: 26.10 Release Notes

Updated

Sprinklr Social is a powerful platform for scaling social media efforts. It offers tools for publishing, engagement, reporting, and more across multiple channels. This release introduces new capabilities designed to elevate customer experiences at every touchpoint, delivering strong business impact.

Summary

New Features

Advocacy

The following new feature(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Advocacy module:

1. AI-Powered Discovery Feed for Advocacy

The new AI-Powered Discovery Feed personalizes content recommendations for each advocate based on sharing activity, content performance, and freshness, making relevant posts easier to discover and share. Administrators can also relaunch the Discovery Feed to reset recommendations and rebuild them using fresh engagement data.

Key benefits:

  • Delivers a personalised content discovery experience.

  • Surfaces trending and relevant content for each advocate.

  • Highlights recently published posts to keep sharing activity current.

  • Helps reduce content fatigue and improve user engagement.

Availability: General Availability (GA) in Release 26.10.

2. Targeted Announcements in Advocacy

Administrators can now target Advocacy announcements to specific advocate audiences using custom field-based targeting. Instead of displaying announcements to all advocates, announcements can be delivered only to advocates whose custom field values match the selected targeting criteria.

Key Benefits:

  • Deliver more relevant announcements to advocates.

  • Reduce announcement fatigue by limiting visibility to intended audiences.

  • Support location-based, department-based, and audience-specific communications.

Note:

Dynamic Property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

3. Threads Support for Advocacy

Advocacy now supports Meta Threads as a publishing and sharing channel. Administrators can enable Threads within Advocacy, allowing advocates to share text, image, video, and carousel content directly to Threads.

Business Value

  • Extend employee advocacy programmes to Threads.

  • Increase brand reach through an additional social channel.

  • Provide a consistent publishing experience across supported social networks.

Configuration: Enable Threads from the Advocacy Admin Console by selecting Threads as an available share channel for the site.

Feature Updates

Advocacy

The following feature improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Advocacy module:

1. Expanded Gamification for Social Engagement Activities

Release 26.10 expands Advocacy gamification by allowing organisations to award points for more social engagement activities, including LinkedIn reposts, X reposts, Facebook reshares, and link clicks. This helps encourage advocates to increase brand visibility and audience reach.

Key benefits:

  • Recognises a wider range of advocacy contributions.

  • Encourages increased social sharing and audience engagement.

  • Provides greater flexibility when designing gamification and incentive programmes.

  • Helps amplify brand reach across multiple social channels.

Channels

The following feature improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Channels module:

1. Channel Parity: Instagram Delete Option

Sprinklr now supports deleting Instagram content directly from Engagement dashboards, bringing Instagram closer to parity with deletion capabilities available on other supported channels. Users with the appropriate deletion permission can delete supported Instagram content types from within Sprinklr without switching to Instagram natively.

Key Benefits

  • Delete Instagram content directly from Sprinklr.

  • Reduce context switching between Sprinklr and Instagram.

  • Improve moderator efficiency when managing brand-owned Instagram content.

  • Extend support to additional Instagram content types, including posts, stories, reels, carousel posts, comments, mentions, and other supported message types.

Permissions and Limitations

Users must have the existing, user-based delete permission enabled by an administrator. Deletions may take a short time to reflect on the native platform.

2. Pinterest Business Employee Access Support

Sprinklr now supports adding and managing Pinterest Business accounts through employee-level access, not just owner/admin accounts. Organisations can allow authorised Pinterest business users to connect and manage accounts in Sprinklr, reducing dependency on a single account owner.

Key Benefits

  • Allows employee-level Pinterest Business users to add accounts to Sprinklr.

  • Eliminates dependence on a single account owner for account onboarding
    and management.

  • Aligns Pinterest account management with the collaborative access model available on channels
    such as Facebook.

  • Supports businesses where multiple team members manage social accounts.

Notes:

1. Dynamic Property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled through dynamic properties (DPs) and is currently available under Limited Availability. To enable the feature in your environment, customers must contact Sprinklr Support. You can reach out to your Success Manager or submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

2. Multiple backend DPs are managed together and presented as a single customer-facing enablement.

3. Pinterest Business Permissions: The Pinterest user must have the required permissions configured in Pinterest Business Manager, including employee-level access, before the account can be discovered and connected in Sprinklr. Customers manage these permissions natively in Pinterest, while Sprinklr Support enables the required DP. Only users with the required Pinterest permissions can connect accounts.

Distributed

The following feature improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Distributed module:

1. Bulk Profile Update Configurations for Social Profiles

Administrators can now create bulk profile update configurations to update profile information across multiple users, groups, accounts, or account groups at scale. This enhancement extends the existing profile review capability by allowing administrators to schedule one-time or recurring profile updates and apply field-level changes across supported social channels.

Key Benefits

  • Update profile fields across large sets of accounts from a single configuration.

  • Schedule profile updates as one-time or recurring actions (for example, quarterly or annually).

  • Apply different update operations based on field type, including replacing, clearing, or appending values.

  • Improve compliance by consistently updating required profile information across distributed accounts.

  • Reduce manual effort for administrators managing large account populations.

Notes:

  1. Dynamic Property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

  2. Availability: Limited Availability (LA)

  3. Permissions: Users must have the existing Config Admin action permission for Bulk Profile Actions. Primary personas are Config Admins and Compliance Admins.

2. LinkedIn Direct Message Publishing for Distributed Users

Eligible distributed users can now proactively initiate LinkedIn Direct Message conversations from within Sprinklr. Previously, users could only reply to incoming LinkedIn messages. This enhancement enables approved users to start conversations with eligible contacts directly from the platform.

Key Benefits

  • Enables users to initiate LinkedIn Direct Message conversations directly from Sprinklr.

  • Removes the previous dependency on recipients initiating the conversation first.

  • Maintains existing approval workflows and governance controls.

  • Provides an experience that aligns more closely with LinkedIn's native messaging capabilities.

Notes:

1.The same partner eligibility logic also governs visibility of the LinkedIn account Terms & Conditions experience for supported partners.

2.Availability: Limited Availability, and available only to eligible Finserv partners.

3. Permissions: Access is determined by partner eligibility and existing platform controls.

3. AI+ Alt Text Generation & Manual Alt Text Support for Empower App

Users can now add and manage alt text for images directly within the Empower mobile app's Quick Publisher experience. Users can either manually enter alt text or leverage AI to automatically generate alt text for supported images, improving content accessibility while bringing mobile capabilities in line with the web experience.

Key Benefits

  • Improves accessibility by enabling alt text creation directly from mobile devices.

  • Reduces manual effort with AI-generated image descriptions.

  • Provides a consistent experience across mobile and web publishing workflows.

  • Supports per-image alt text management for multi-image and carousel posts.

  • Prevents overwriting existing alt text by generating descriptions only for images without alt text.

Notes:

  1. Supported Channels: Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter)

  2. AI-generated alt text is supported for images only.

  3. GIFs supports Alt text but not the AI Alt Text feature.

  4. In mixed Instagram carousel posts, alt text options are available only for image assets and not for videos.

4. Connect TikTok Personal Profiles in Distributed and Space

Users can now connect both TikTok Personal Profiles and TikTok Business Accounts using the existing TikTok account addition flow in Distributed and Space. During account connection, Sprinklr automatically identifies the account type and prompts users for confirmation when a Personal Profile is detected. This enhancement simplifies onboarding while preserving account-type distinctions for governance, filtering, and reporting purposes.

Key Benefits

  • Connect TikTok Personal Profiles without converting them to Business Accounts.

  • Use a single TikTok connection experience for both Personal and Business accounts.

  • Preserve account type information for governance and operational workflows.

  • Filter, segment, and manage Personal and Business profiles separately through account-level configurations.

  • Maintain support for publishing, engagement, and reporting capabilities using the existing TikTok integration.

Notes:

  1. Availability: Limited Availability

  2. Dynamic Property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

  3. Personal and Business accounts continue to use the same TikTok integration.

  4. When a Personal Profile is detected, users must explicitly confirm the account addition.

  5. Account type is retained as a system account property and can be used in: Account Context Rules, Copy Action conditions, Global filtering, Account-level custom fields, Account search and management experiences, and Reporting and governance workflows.

  6. Certain TikTok business-specific reporting metrics are not available for Personal Profiles, including phone number clicks, lead submissions, app download clicks, bio link clicks, email clicks, address clicks, and website clicks.

Engagement

The following feature improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Engagement module:

1. Reddit Profile-Based Engagement

Sprinklr now supports Reddit profile-based engagement by enabling users to monitor and manage Reddit profile submissions and profile comments within Engagement. Users can create Engagement columns for Reddit profile activity and manage interactions using the existing Reddit engagement experience.

Key Benefits

  • Monitor Reddit profile submissions and profile comments directly in Engagement.

  • View profile details, post content, images, and threaded discussions in a single workflow.

  • Continue using existing engagement capabilities and channel actions within the familiar Reddit engagement experience.

  • Filter profile comment streams, including brand and non-brand comments.

Publishing

The following feature improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Publishing module:

1. Instagram Music Support in Reel Publishing

Users can now add music to Instagram Reels during the publishing workflow. The Reel composer includes audio fields that allow users to search for Instagram songs, select a track, view song details, and configure the song volume before publishing. The selected audio is attached to the Reel at creation time. Based on the provided information, this capability is supported only for Direct Publish in this release. It is not available for Publish via Mobile.

Key Benefits

  • Add Instagram music directly while creating Reels.

  • Search music by song or artist name within the publishing workflow.

  • Discover and use trending songs when no search term is provided.

  • Control audio volume before publishing.

  • View Reel previews with the selected music applied during content creation.

2. Faster Publishing Experience in Quick Publisher

With this release, Sprinklr introduces a Faster Publishing enhancement in the Quick Publisher to reduce time spent on repetitive form filling and improve overall publishing speed.

Earlier, a significant amount of time was spent selecting frequently used values (such as campaign fields and other dropdown selections) while creating posts. To address this, the system now intelligently identifies and prioritizes recently and frequently used selections.

Key Improvements:

  • Smart suggestions based on the user’s recent selection patterns in dropdown fields.

  • The system evaluates the last five selections to identify commonly used values.

  • If a value is frequently used (e.g., appears multiple times in recent selections), it is surfaced as a quick suggestion for faster access.

  • Helps reduce repetitive manual selection and speeds up post creation in Quick Publisher.

Notes:

  1. Availability:

Available within the Quick Publisher flow under the Create Post experience.

  2. Dynamic Property (DP):

Access to this enhancement is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

3. TikTok Reply to Hashtag Mentions

Sprinklr now supports replying to TikTok hashtag mentions from Engagement. Previously, users could interact with standard TikTok mentions, but replies to hashtag-based mentions were not supported. With this enhancement, brands can engage with conversations where users mention a brand hashtag and respond directly through Sprinklr.

Key Benefits

  • Enables engagement with TikTok conversations that reference a brand through hashtags.

  • Expands TikTok engagement capabilities beyond standard account mentions.

  • Allows brands to respond to hashtag-driven conversations within Sprinklr.

  • Supports engagement workflows through the existing TikTok engagement experience.

4. TikTok: Support for Adding Photos in Comments

Users can now add photo comments when replying on TikTok. Previously, replies supported text-based responses only. With this update, image attachments can be included as part of TikTok replies.

Key Benefits

  • Enables richer interactions through image-based replies on TikTok.

  • Expands TikTok reply capabilities beyond text-only responses.

  • Provides users with additional ways to engage with TikTok audiences.

5. Instagram Collaborator Posts: Outbound Copy Creation for Accepted Collaboration Requests

Sprinklr now creates an outbound copy of an Instagram post when a brand accepts a collaboration request. Once a collaboration request is accepted and the post becomes visible on the collaborator's timeline, the post is treated as a branded outbound post for reporting and tracking purposes.

This enhancement helps support reporting on fan-initiated collaboration posts by making accepted collaboration content available within outbound reporting workflows.

Additional Behaviour

For accepted collaboration posts, certain Instagram channel actions available to post owners are not available to collaborators. When such actions are unavailable, users see the message: "Only post owner can do this action not collaborators"

Key Benefits

  • Enables reporting on accepted Instagram collaboration posts.

  • Creates outbound copies automatically when collaboration requests are accepted.

  • Allows users to distinguish collaboration posts from other outbound content through reporting filters.

  • Improves visibility into collaboration content performance alongside other outbound posts.

6. Support for Multiple Simultaneous Posts on Threads

Users can now create and publish a series of connected Threads posts in a single publishing workflow. Each post in the series is published as a separate Threads post and linked to the previous post, creating a threaded conversation experience similar to multi-post threads. This enhancement applies to Threads publishing and is distinct from carousel posts, which contain multiple media assets within a single post.

Key Benefits

  • Create multiple connected Threads posts within a single publishing workflow.

  • Publish threaded conversations without manually creating and linking individual posts.

  • Use a publishing experience aligned with existing multi-thread workflows.

  • Manage each thread as a separate post while maintaining the overall conversation chain.

7. Instagram Partnership Ads Label Support

Users can now add the “Paid partnership” label to Instagram content at the time of publishing. This enhancement enables branded content to be published with the partnership disclosure directly through Sprinklr, removing the need to add the label manually after publishing in Instagram. The partnership label can be added without tagging a specific brand and is supported across multiple Instagram media formats.

Key Benefits

  • Add the Paid partnership disclosure during content creation and publishing.

  • Eliminate the need to manually apply partnership labels after publishing.

  • Support partnership labels across multiple Instagram content formats.

  • Filter posts containing a paid partnership label using an additional post property.

  • Improve reporting and content management by distinguishing partnership-labelled posts from other outbound content.

Notes:

1.Dynamic Property (DP):

Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

2. Supported Media Types: Images, Carousels, Reels, and Stories

3. The partnership label can be added without tagging a specific brand.

4. Posts with a partnership label can be identified and filtered using an additional property in outbound content experiences and Editorial Calendar views.

5. Preview support is available during the publishing workflow.

8. Smart Batching Support for Bulk Publishing: UI Enhancements

Sprinklr now provides Smart Batching support for eligible bulk publishing scenarios. When Smart Batching is activated, posts are published in batches to help reduce failures caused by channel rate limits. The publishing experience includes eligibility checks, informational messaging, estimated completion times, publishing status updates, and post-completion notifications.

Key Benefits

  • Helps reduce publishing failures caused by channel rate limits.

  • Publishes content in controlled batches rather than sending all posts simultaneously.

  • Displays estimated publishing completion times before publishing begins.

  • Provides visibility into publishing progress through notifications.

  • Includes direct access to published posts when publishing is complete.

  • Allows users to opt out of Smart Batching when eligible.

Notes:

  1. Dynamic Property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

  2. Smart Batching eligibility is evaluated when account groups are selected during bulk publishing.

  3. An informational banner is displayed when Smart Batching is available for the publishing request.

  4. Users receive notifications when Smart Batching starts and when publishing is complete.

  5. The completion notification includes a link to review the published posts.

  6. Smart Batching is controlled by backend logic.

Reporting

The following feature improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Reporting module:

1. LinkedIn Creator Analytics Metrics Integration

Sprinklr Reporting now supports six new LinkedIn Creator Analytics metrics, enabling organisations to access additional content-performance insights and maintain reporting parity with LinkedIn. These metrics can be used to analyse content sharing, saving, link engagement, profile growth, and profile discovery driven by content.

Newly Supported Metrics

Metric

Description

LinkedIn Profile Post Sends

Number of times a post was shared through LinkedIn Messaging.

LinkedIn Profile Post Saves

Number of times users saved the post for future reference.

LinkedIn Profile Link Clicks

Number of clicks on links contained within the post.

LinkedIn Profile Premium CTA Clicks

Number of clicks on Premium profile CTA buttons associated with the content.

LinkedIn Profile Followers Gained from Content

Number of new followers acquired as a result of viewing or engaging with the content.

LinkedIn Profile Views from Content

Number of profile visits generated by the content.

Key Benefits

  • Gain visibility into how often content is shared through LinkedIn Messaging.

  • Measure how frequently users save content for future reference.

  • Track clicks on links included in LinkedIn posts.

  • Monitor engagement with Premium profile CTA buttons.

  • Understand follower growth generated by content.

  • Analyse profile visits driven by published content.

2. Alt Text Reporting Enhancements

Reporting now supports analysis of the actual Alt Text associated with posts, helping organisations understand how Alt Text usage correlates with content performance. In addition, Alt Text tracking has been standardised across Sprinklr-published and auto-imported posts by treating Media Description as Alt Text where applicable. This enhancement improves consistency in accessibility reporting and ensures that Alt Text-related reporting works across supported publishing flows.

Key Benefits

  • Report on the actual Alt Text used in posts rather than relying solely on a Yes/No indicator.

  • Improve analysis of how different Alt Text descriptions correlate with content performance and reach.

  • Ensure consistent Alt Text tracking across both Sprinklr-published and auto-imported posts.

  • Improve accessibility reporting by recognising Alt Text stored in either the Alternate Text or Media Description fields.

  • Provide more accurate results when filtering content using the Is Alt Text Present dimension.

Notes:

1.For Sprinklr-published posts, Alt Text is stored in the Alternate Text field.

2.For auto-imported or natively published posts where channel data provides Alt Text, the value may be stored in Media Description.

3.The Is Alt Text Present dimension now evaluates both sources to improve reporting consistency.

4.Supported Channels for Alt Text: LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, X (Twitter), Telegram, Bluesky and Line

3. Instagram Collaboration Posts Reporting for Fan-Initiated Collaborations

Sprinklr now supports reporting on fan-initiated Instagram collaboration posts. When an influencer or creator initiates a collaboration and a brand accepts the collaboration request, Sprinklr creates an outbound post record and makes collaboration insights available in Reporting.

Users can report on collaboration post-performance using supported metrics and dimensions, including collaborator information and collaboration indicators.

Key Benefits

  • Enables reporting on fan-initiated Instagram collaboration posts after collaboration requests are accepted.

  • Creates outbound post records for supported collaboration content, making the posts available for reporting workflows.

  • Provides visibility into collaboration performance using Instagram engagement metrics.

  • Supports identification of collaboration posts through dedicated collaboration dimensions.

  • Includes collaborator information within reporting for collaboration analysis.

Notes:

1.Availability: Limited Availability

2. Supported Metrics for fan-initiated collaboration posts: Likes, Comments, Reposts, Saved, Shares, Total Views

3. Supported Dimensions for fan-initiated collaboration posts: Is IG Collab, Fan-initiated collaboration identifier, Name of Collaborators

4. Dynamic property: Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

4. Trend Calculation Fix for Percentage Metrics

Sprinklr now provides an enhanced trend-calculation method for supported percentage-based metrics. When enabled, trend records store the cumulative (lifetime) value captured at each data fetch instead of storing the difference between consecutive values.

This improvement helps trend charts more accurately represent how percentage-based metrics change over time. For example, a metric such as a skip rate can be visualised as its actual value at each point in time rather than as incremental changes between data fetches.

Key Benefits

  • Improves trend visualisation for percentage-based metrics.

  • Displays the actual value of a percentage metric at each recorded point in time.

  • Provides a clearer view of whether percentage-based metrics are trending upward or downward.

  • Preserves the existing trend-calculation behaviour for non-percentage metrics.

  • Supports future expansion to additional percentage metrics without requiring changes to reporting workflows.

Notes:

1.Availability: Limited Availability

2. The enhancement applies only to percentage-based metrics that are configured for this behaviour.

3. When the DP is disabled, the existing delta-based trend behaviour is retained.

4. Non-percentage metrics continue to use the current trend-calculation approach.

5. Dynamic property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

5. Introduction of the Reporting Health Pane

Sprinklr introduces a centralized Reporting Health Pane that provides visibility into reporting-data quality and potential channel-side reporting inconsistencies. Instead of displaying warnings across multiple dashboards and widgets, reporting health information is consolidated into a single experience, helping users understand the reliability of reported metrics during a selected reporting period.

When reporting health falls below a defined threshold, users can access detailed health information and identify affected channels and metrics from one location.

Key Benefits

  • Provides a centralized view of reporting-data health across channels and metrics.

  • Improves transparency when channel-provided data may contain inconsistencies.

  • Helps users quickly identify affected channels and metrics without reviewing individual widgets.

  • Uses progressive disclosure, allowing users to drill down from channel status to metric-level details.

  • Presents issue explanations in plain language to simplify investigation.

  • Includes impact information and recommended next steps to support reporting decisions.

  • Reduces dashboard clutter by consolidating reporting-health information into a single experience.

Notes:

1.Users can view channel-level reporting health with Healthy, At Risk, or Impacted statuses, drill into affected metrics, and see the impact, current status, and recommended actions.

2.Dynamic Property (DP): Access to this feature is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

6. Content Type: Unified Content Classification Dimension

Sprinklr introduces a new Content Type dimension in Social Reporting, providing a unified way to classify and analyse social content across networks. Users can now use a single dimension to categorise content by interaction format, without relying on multiple network-specific dimensions or filters. Supported content types include Post, Story, Reel, Comment, Reply, Direct Message, and Repost across supported channels such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, and Reddit.

Key Benefits

  • Simplifies content segmentation by replacing the need to combine multiple dimensions and filters.

  • Provides a consistent reporting experience across supported social networks.

  • Enables easier comparison of content formats such as Reels, Stories, Posts, Comments, Replies, Direct Messages, and Reposts.

  • Reduces reliance on network-specific reporting logic.

  • Improves usability by consolidating content-format classification into a single reporting dimension.
