Create a Column for Gainsight Community

Introduction

Using the Engagement Dashboard, you can view and interact with all posts from your Gainsight Community account. This article explains how to create an Engagement Dashboard column for a Gainsight Community account.

Steps to Create a Column in Engagement Dashboard

1. Open the Engagement Dashboard

Click the New Tab icon in Sprinklr. Under the Sprinklr Social tab, select Engagement Dashboards within Engage. The Engagement Dashboard screen will appear.

2. Create or Select a Dashboard

In the Engagement Dashboard, you can either:

  • Create a new dashboard: Click Create Dashboard in the top-right corner, enter the required details, and click Add.

  • Use an existing dashboard: Search for an existing Gainsight Community dashboard using the search bar.

3. Add a Column
In the selected or newly created dashboard, click Add Column in the top-right corner. A new page opens. Select Gainsight Community.

4. Choose the Column Type
On the next page, select the column type for your dashboard. You can create columns for Inbox, Conversations, Questions and Comments.

5. Configure Column Details
Enter the required details, including Name, Account/Account Group, Show, Sort and Post Type.

Note: The Post Type field allows you to choose between All Posts, Brand Posts, or Others Posts.

6. Set Workflow Properties (Optional)
Configure workflow properties as needed. These properties, whether set automatically or manually, define the message workflow status, assignment, priority, spam classification, and sentiment.

7. Set Custom Properties (Optional)
Add custom properties to further control which messages are included or excluded based on specific criteria.

8. Create the Column
After entering all required details, click Create Column in the bottom-right corner to add the newly created column to the dashboard.

9. View the Column
The newly created column will now appear on the Engagement Dashboard.
