That’s why we introduced AI-Generated Alt Text—a powerful feature that automates accessibility and simplifies alt text creation without compromising on quality or brand voice.
About AI-Generated Alt Text Feature
AI-Generated Alt Text helps social media and marketing teams quickly create high-quality, platform-compliant image descriptions with just one click. Instead of spending 3–5 minutes manually writing alt text for each image, users can instantly generate accurate and accessible descriptions—saving valuable time while ensuring compliance. Fully integrated into Quick Publisher, Full Screen Publisher, and Post Assets, this feature streamlines alt text creation across your content workflow. For added flexibility, brands can customize the AI by modifying prompts or integrating their own models through AI Studio to maintain brand voice and meet regulatory standards.
Notes:
1. The AI-Generated Alt Text Feature works best for media with text in English.
2. The default provider is Google Gemini (formerly Bard).

Currently, Alt Text support is available for images up to 30 MB in size and in PNG, JPEG, or WebP formats. Support for GIF files will be introduced in a future release.
Availability
This feature is Limited Accessibility (LA), and included in the AI+ offering at no additional cost.
Note:
1. Access: Access to this feature is controlled by the dynamic property: <GPT_ACTIONS_ENABLED>. To enable this feature in your environment, reach out to your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.
2. Permission- Existing Sprinklr AI+ permission in the Outbound Message category under Publishing permissions.

How to Use AI-Generated Alt Text
Here’s how to use AI-Generated Alt Text in your Publisher Screen or through Sprinklr AI+ Studio.
In Publisher Screen
Navigate to the Publishing Screen - In your Sprinklr platform, click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Social section, choose either Quick Publish or Editorial Calendar within the Engage module. Selecting Quick Publish takes you directly to the Create a Post window. If you choose Editorial Calendar, click on it first, then select Create a Post from the top-right corner to open the Create a Post window.
Upload Images - Add media via Quick Publisher or Full Screen Publisher.
Click Generate Alt Text button - A button appears for channels that support alt text.
AI Generates Alt Text - Alt text is automatically created via AI for any image missing it.
Refine If Needed - Use Sprinklr AI+ to translate and spell-grammar check to enhance the quality of descriptions.
Customize in AI Studio - Modify your prompts or use in-house models for further brand customisation and tailored results.
Note: If you have selected multiple channels that support Alt Text, you'll need to generate Alt Text separately for each channel.
In Sprinklr AI+ Studio
1. Navigate to Sprinklr AI+ Studio - In your Sprinklr platform, click the New Tab icon. Under the Sprinklr Social section, AI+ Studio within the Platform modules.
2. Within AI+ Studio, select Deploy your Use-Cases. In this Screen, select Sprinklr Social, and within Sprinklr Social, click on Generate Image Alt Text.
3. On this Screen, click the options icon 
of any of the listed deployments, i.e., deployed AI models to edit details, edit pipeline, undeploy, bulk test, view audit trail and delete.
