Overview of Data Extracts
Updated
Data Extracts are structured datasets that provide raw, event‑level information from different parts of the platform, such as voice interactions, IVR journeys, callbacks, queues, case journeys, macro applications, agent activity and many more. They provide granular, raw event‑level data and metrics that support customer journey visualization, advanced analytics, and customized operational reporting. It supports easy integration through multiple methods and enables organizations to identify trends, analyze patterns, and derive meaningful insights from the data.
Purpose
Provide raw, detailed datasets for deeper analysis beyond standard dashboards.
Help supervisors and analysts understand customer interactions and agent performance.
Support troubleshooting, operational monitoring, and identification of process gaps.
Enable historical tracking, reporting, and compliance or audit needs.
Allow integration with BI tools or data warehouses for advanced insights.
Access and Permissions
To access these reports, Standard Dashboard Service Analytics must be enabled. Once enabled, the Standard Dashboard will appear in the left pane for easy access. Within Standard Dashboards, there's a separate section for Data Extracts, listing all the available extracts.
User Permissions: You must have the necessary user level permissions for each individual dashboard to view its content. You can navigate to All Settings -> Workspace/ Global Roles -> Create Role -> Under Reporting Permissions -> Standard Dashboards -> Data Extracts. Refer to this article for more details on setup for roles and permisisons.
Supported Data Extract Types
Voice Data Extracts: Voice Data Extracts provide granular, event‑level data across calls, IVR, queues, callbacks, and agent handling to help teams understand the full voice journey, identify bottlenecks, measure performance, and optimize operations.
Digital Data Extracts: Digital Data Extracts provide granular, event‑level data across all digital channels, email, social, chat, messaging, and community, to help teams analyze engagement patterns, measure performance, identify workflow gaps, and optimize digital operations.
Agent Details Data Extracts: Agent Details Data Extracts provide granular, event‑level insights into agent availability and activity across channels, helping teams monitor adherence, analyze productivity, and optimize staffing.
Other / Future Extracts: We will keep adding more extracts with the release.
Export and Download Details
Extracts are available for direct access within the platform. They can also be exported through several methods that are listed below:
Scheduled Exports: Use Sprinklr’s Scheduled Exports to automate the delivery of extracts to keep your team consistently informed. Scheduled Exports allow you to configure automated, customizable exports by selecting the file format, layout, and scheduling frequency that best fits your needs. You can refer this article for more information.
Manual Downloads: You can manually export and download the extract in the forma of PDF, Excel, PNG, HTML+, CSV and XML.
APIs and Webhooks: Reporting extracts in Sprinklr are downloaded by pulling dashboard/widget data using Reporting APIs with a generated payload, while Webhooks only push event-based notifications and do not deliver reporting exports
To retrieve them, go to 'More Actions' at the dashboard level and click 'Export'.
NOTES:
When exporting data at the segment level, it is recommended to use overlapping intervals to ensure synchronization of values.
For example, if you export data for a 15‑minute window (10:00–10:15), schedule the export at 10:30 to capture the synced values.
For ongoing records, the minimum recommended interval is 1 hour to maintain consistency and accuracy.
If a scheduled export trigger fails, the export must be manually initiated to ensure data availability and continuity.
The system is compatible with formats including PDF, Excel, PNG, PPT, HTML+, CSV, and XML. With the aid of Scheduled Exports, you can effortlessly disseminate insights, maintain team coherence, and convey objectives with enhanced efficiency.
Miscellaneous Information
Custom Field Behavior: Custom Fields by default are not added in any of the extracts. However based on feasibility to report on various types of custom fields in different extracts, specific details have been added in extract level articles. Custom Fields, if added, should be taken as a part of Unique Key along with other listed dimensions in the extracts
Change in Data Type via Reporting Preferences: Data Types can vary and change for timestamps, number and date type fields if the default behavior is changed from the Reporting Preferences section. This is governed at a user level, and can be customised for in sprinklr use or export capabilities. For more details, refer to this article.
Default Export Timeframe: Via scheduled exports, the timeframe for which export is generated is defined at dashboard level (user level)
