Create Viber Service Templates

You can create templates for Viber Service accounts in Sprinklr to streamline and enhance customer communication on the Viber Service platform. These templates include post assets, list messages, and carousel messages.

Supported Formats and Size Limitations

When using Viber Service accounts for business messaging, it's important to follow the platform’s media and content limitations to ensure smooth delivery and optimal user experience.

Below are the supported formats and character limits for various message components:

Create Templates

You can create templates for the Viber Service channel in Sprinklr’s Digital Asset Management (DAM). These templates enable you to send engaging messages using various formats such as post assets, list messages, and carousel messages.

Create a Post Asset

For Viber Service accounts, post templates are designed to include media assets such as images, videos, or files, along with optional captions and action buttons. These templates support a variety of message formats to enable flexible and engaging communication with users.

To add a post asset, follow these steps:

1. Click the New Page (+) icon. Under Platform Modules > Integrate, click Digital Asset Management.

2. In the top-right corner of the Digital Asset Management window, click Create Asset, then select Post.

3. On the Create New Asset window, from the Channels drop-down, select Viber Service.

4. From the Type of Message drop-down, select the supported message type.

5. Under the Overview section, give a relevant Name and Description (optional). Then, select the Status of the Asset as required.

6. Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

When creating a Post asset, the input fields displayed will depend on the Type of Message selected. The following table lists the required input fields for each supported message type.

Input Field Description

The following table gives a brief explanation of each input field:

Message Box

A text area where you enter the content that will appear in the Viber message.

In the bottom-right corner, a character counter displays the number of characters remaining.

To make your message more engaging, use the Emoji Picker icon to insert emojis. You can also use the Insert option in the bottom-left corner to add custom links, content placeholders, YouTube videos, text templates, and a signature.

Select/Upload Photo

Click Select Photo to choose an image from the Media Uploader. To upload an image from your device, click Upload Photo.

Button (Label and URL)

Lets you add a clickable button to the message.

  • Label: The text that appears on the button

  • URL: The web address the user will be directed to when clicking the button

Select/Upload Video

Click Select Video to choose a video from the Media Uploader. To upload a video from your device, click Upload Video.

Click Select Document to choose a document from the Media Uploader. To upload a document from your device, click Upload Document.

Create a List Message Template

You can create a List Message template in the Digital Asset Manager for use with Viber Service accounts. You can use this template to send a message that allows customers to choose from a predefined list of options within the conversation, enabling quick and structured responses.

To add a list message template, follow these steps:

1. Click the New Page (+) icon. Under Platform Modules > Integrate, click Digital Asset Management.

2. In the top-right corner of the Digital Asset Management window, click Create Asset, then select Templates.

3. Under Templates, select Omni Chat Templates.

4. In the Create New Asset window, enter a Name and an optional Description for your asset in the Basic Details section.

5. In the Asset Specific section, make the following selections:

  • From the Channel dropdown, select Viber.

  • From the Template Type dropdown, select List (Viber Service).

6. In the Create New Viber Service List section:

  • In Text, enter a header for the list.

  • In Options, enter the items you want to include in the list.

8. In the Asset Details section, select the Status and Expires on date for the asset (mandatory).

8. Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

Create a Carousel Message Template

Carousel templates in Viber Service accounts enable sending a single text message accompanied by up to 10 horizontally scrollable cards. Each card can contain media, text, and action buttons, offering an interactive and visually rich way to showcase multiple content items within a single message.

To add a carousel message template, follow these steps:

1. Click the New Page (+) icon. Under Platform Modules > Integrate, click Digital Asset Management.

2. In the top-right corner of the Digital Asset Management window, click Create Asset, then select Templates.

3. Under Templates, select Omni Chat Templates.

4. In the Create New Asset window, enter a Name and an optional Description for your asset in the Basic Details section.

5. In the Asset Specific section, make the following selections:

  • From the Channel dropdown, select Viber.

  • From the Template Type dropdown, select Carousel (Viber Service).

6. In the Carousel section, enter the carousel Label.

7. Create carousel elements:

  • In Text, enter a name for the carousel element.

  • In Upload Image, add an image from your device or select one from DAM.

  • To add a button, click Add New Button and enter the button title and URL.

  • To add more carousel elements, click Add New Carousel Element and repeat the above steps.

8. Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

You have successfully created message templates for your Viber Service account. These templates can now be used in Care Console and Journey Facilitator to send messages to your customers.
