You need to have Edit and View Distribution permissions in order to access SMS Distribution.

Setting Up

Using SMS simplifies the process of sending surveys and reminders, leading to higher response rates. It enhances customer engagement by utilizing a widely used messaging platform to gather feedback seamlessly. Additionally, businesses can send personalized, multilingual survey invitations, reminders, and thank-you messages for a more tailored experience. Let's understand how to manage distribution:

Click on the Vertical Ellipses () against each survey to manage:

  1. Edit: You have the ability to modify the distribution.

  2. Clone: You can replicate the distribution.

  3. Pause: You have the option to halt the distribution.

  4. Distribution Report: The distribution report includes essential information such as the respondent's name, contact details, message status, response status, the time the survey was sent, the time of response, the language of the survey, and the response ID.

  5. Delete: You have the option to remove the distribution.

  6. View Distribution Report: Select the eye icon to access the distribution. The distribution report contains essential information, such as the respondent's name, contact details, message status, response status, the time the survey was sent, the time of response, the language of the survey, and the response ID.

Record Manager

The SMS Distribution Record Manager provides the following details:

  • Distribution Name: Add the designated name for the distribution.

  • Status: Indicates the current state of the distribution:

    • Active: The distribution is live and collecting responses.

    • Paused: Response collection is on hold and can be resumed through the "Resume" option.

    • Scheduled: Messages are set to be sent at a future date or time.

    • Draft: The distribution is incomplete and can be scheduled by adding recipients, setting a send time, and updating the setup.

  • Audience Size: The number of recipients targeted by the distribution.

  • Response Rate: Calculated as Number of Surveys Submitted / Total Surveys Sent.

  • Sent Count: Total number of messages that have been sent.

  • Survey Open Count: The number of times the survey has been opened.

  • Open Rate: Calculated as Number of Surveys Opened / Total Surveys Sent.

  • Total Failed: Number of failed message delivery attempts.

  • Unsubscribed Count: Number of unsubscribed messages.

  • Schedule Time: Scheduled time for the distribution.

  • Expiration Time: The time at which survey links expire, after which no responses are collected.

  • Description: Additional details or notes about the distribution.

  • Created By: The user who created the distribution.

  • Created Time: Timestamp of distribution creation.

  • Response Count: Total number of responses received.

  • Schedule Type: Indicates if the distribution is scheduled, sent immediately, or triggered based.
