Survey Setting Overview
Updated
The General Survey Settings equip administrators and survey designers with adjustable parameters to oversee survey response gathering, maintain data integrity, and personalize survey processes. This functionality enables users to define protocols for survey response management and the utilization of tailored data fields.
The following settings are available in the Survey Settings:
Allow Completing Survey Later: If activated, unfinished submissions are saved as drafts and can be monitored in the "Responses" section.
Quota Setup: In survey configurations, a quota acts as a cap on the quantity of responses accepted from particular respondent categories, as determined by user-defined criteria. This mechanism aids in attaining a balanced or regulated data sample from target demographics.
Quarantine Rule Setup: The Quarantine Rules module controls how often and when survey invitations are sent to contacts. It sets limits on the frequency a contact can be invited within a specific timeframe, which helps to improve the quality of responses and the overall experience for participants.
Link Hierarchy to Response Field: This functionality connects the established hierarchy with corresponding responses, simplifying access and analysis of pertinent data for teams at various organizational levels. This organized method guarantees the efficient application of feedback data throughout diverse survey initiatives.
Data Masking: The Data Masking Templates functionality enables users to utilize ready-made templates for masking confidential data within responses. These templates are useful for ensuring adherence to data privacy laws and protecting sensitive information against unauthorized access.
Response Custom Fields: These fields save external metadata related to each survey answer. They add extra context, which helps with data analysis and gives better insights.
Transaction Fields: Transactions, which are specific to Customer Financial Management (CFM), are contained within a user's profile and record data about interactions between the customer and the brand. Every interaction results in metadata that is stored as a separate transaction.
Business Use Cases
Enhancing Workflow Efficiency with Custom Fields: Custom fields enable the customization of surveys based on factors like customer segments, purchase history, or service interactions. This allows for personalized survey distribution, ensuring that each customer receives surveys that are both relevant and timely, which in turn enhances the quality of responses and boosts overall engagement.
Enhanced Security: Masking templates helps to guarantee the secure management of confidential survey information. This feature reduces the likelihood of data compromises and helps maintain compliance with privacy laws, ultimately boosting confidence and adherence throughout the company.
Improved Data Accuracy: By connecting external metadata to survey responses, you can obtain more refined insights. This process ensures that survey results are more precise and consistent with important organizational benchmarks, thereby enhancing the trustworthiness of data-informed decisions.
