When a user is engaged in a particular task and asks a question that relates to a different task, the Sprinklr AI Agent automatically detects the context switch. It then prompts the user with a choice—whether to continue with the current conversation or switch to the new task.
Note: For the Sprinklr AI Agent to switch between the tasks during a conversation, the required tasks should have the trigger task toggle enabled.

Imagine a user begins a conversation with the Sprinklr AI Agent to report an issue with their internet connection—this initiates the troubleshooting task. Midway through the interaction, the user shifts focus and asks about available plans for upgrading their service.
Recognizing this change in intent, the Sprinklr AI Agent intelligently detects the need to transition the conversation. Rather than continuing in the same flow, it proactively prompts the user with a clear choice:
“Would you like to proceed with our Sales Assistance journey to explore new plans, or continue resolving your current internet issue? Please let me know your preference.”
This smooth transition is known as a Workflow Handover. In this scenario, the Sprinklr AI Agent routes the user from the active troubleshooting task to the relevant Sales Assistance task, ensuring a seamless, context-aware experience without breaking the flow of the conversation.
