Sprinklr Marketing: 20.7 Release Notes
Updated
Sprinklr Marketing unifies and enhances marketing efforts across channels. It centralizes content creation, campaign management, and performance analytics for both organic and paid campaigns. This release introduces new capabilities designed to enhance customer experiences across all touchpoints.
Marketing
The following features are introduced to the Marketing module for improved experience and efficiency:
Revamped Editorial Calendar Now Available to All Users
Starting with this release, all customers can now access the revamped Editorial Calendar UI, which offers enhanced views, improved performance, and expanded customization options. The updated interface focuses on delivering a more personalized calendar experience, while streamlining navigation and enhancing navigation across month, week, and day views.
Below is a list of the enhancements made to the Editorial Calendar for better usability –
Left Navigation Bar: We’ve added a left navigation bar to help you quickly switch between boards and standard calendars. This update improves discoverability and makes it easier to access planners and boards.
Enhanced Month View: You can now manage sub-campaigns directly from the month view. We’ve also introduced a split-screen layout, allowing campaign marketers and content managers to collaborate more effectively by viewing planning and execution entities side by side.
Refined Week & Day Views: These views now focus more on execution entities such as Messages, Events, and Tasks, to better reflect their execution-centric nature. To keep these views streamlined we have removed campaign support.
Expanded Customization Options: Personalize your calendar more effectively with new features like metadata display on calendar cards, a workweek view, and additional layout preferences.
Refer to the before and after images below to see the changes in action. For more details, go to Setting up Editorial Calendar Views.
Enhanced Message Idea Edit Workflows
Sprinklr has enhanced the message idea editing workflow, giving you more control over how you edit message ideas. Previously, editing a message idea automatically converted it into a message. With this update, you can now choose to edit it either as a message idea or as a message.
We’ve introduced a new button - Edit as Message, which lets you convert and edit the message idea as a message. If Full Screen Publisher is not enabled, this button appears as Edit as Post. To edit the message idea without converting it, simply click the Edit button. For more details, refer to Edit Message Ideas.
Editorial Calendar – Full Message Card Color Configuration
Sprinklr has enhanced color configuration options for message cards in the Editorial Calendar. You can now highlight the entire message card with your selected color, and not just the top bar.
With this update, the color configuration menu includes a new Apply On field, allowing you to choose whether to apply the color to the entire card or just as a color bar at the top. For more details, refer to Add Color Configuration to Your Messages in Editorial Calendar.
Note: The Apply On field appears only when you select outbound message as the entity for color configuration.
Introducing New Outbound Message Dimension in Reporting
With this release, Sprinklr introduces a new dimension - Unique Message ID, within the Outbound Message data source in reporting. This addition helps you identify and track each planned or published message accurately for reporting and analysis.
Assigned By Field in Tasks Update
With this release, Sprinklr updates the content marketing workflow to show the entity creator (campaign owner, message author, requestor, or asset creator) in the Assigned By field in tasks.
Note: this update only applies when the Rule Engine automatically triggers the workflow on an entity, in other scenarios it will continue to display the user who assigned the task or initiated the workflow
Sorting Options in Content Templates Record Manager
We are enhancing the Content Template record manager by adding new sorting capabilities. You can now use the Sort By option in the top-right corner to organize all templates in the record manager.
In addition, Sprinklr now allows you to sort individually by each column, including Name, Account Type, Status, Modified On, Created On, and Created By, making it easier to locate and manage templates efficiently.
Advertising
The following features are introduced to the Advertising module for improved experience and efficiency:
Introducing Ads Manager Assistant
With this release, we are launching Ads Manager Assistant —a powerful tool that automatically detects anomalies and errors in real time to simplify campaign monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution.
You can view all detected issues directly in Ads Manager Copilot, which currently monitors the following:
Budget & Pacing: Detects budget deviations, pacing issues, and end date changes that could lead to overspending, allowing you to take proactive action.
Ad Delivery Health: Flags issues like approval delays, delivery shortfalls, or unexpected pauses that may impact performance—helping you resolve them quickly and maintain consistent delivery.
Naming Conventions: Identifies inconsistencies in naming structures to help enforce standardized naming across campaigns.
Custom Field Anomalies: Uses historical data and peer comparisons to detect untagged or incorrectly tagged custom fields, ensuring consistent tagging across entities.
Ads Manager Assistant also groups errors by entity level (Paid Initiatives, Ad Sets, and Ads) and provides a summary view, making it easier to pinpoint and resolve issues across your campaigns efficiently. For more details, refer to Ads Manager Assistant Overview.
Channel Guidelines in Ad Creative Creation Workflow
Sprinklr now integrates Channel-Specific Guidelines directly into the Ad Creation Workflow to reduce the risk of non-compliant ads being submitted. This new feature performs real-time compliance checks in the UI, providing immediate feedback on whether an asset is compliant or not, and what specific issues need to be addressed to meet channel guidelines. With this update, you can -
Validate media assets in real-time against each channel’s requirements, including aspect ratio, resolution, file size, text limits, and more.
View clear visual and textual feedback on whether your asset meets channel compliance (specific ad requirements defined by advertising platforms). For example, Facebook requires an aspect ratio of 1:1, 4:5 and width (pixels) and height (pixels) greater than 120 for Facebook feed images.
For more details, refer to How to Create an Ad Creative in the Creative Library.
Ads Dashboard Copilot – Enhanced with Chat and Comprehensive Summaries
With this release, Sprinklr has enhanced the Ads Dashboard Copilot by adding a chat interface and expanding the dashboard summarizer to deliver insights at the tab and widget levels. These new capabilities make data exploration faster, clearer, and more intuitive -
Chat-Based Insights - Ask questions about your data, and Copilot instantly responds with clear insights, detailed breakdowns, comparisons, and entity-level performance, all in one place.
Smart Summaries at Each Level - Whether you are reviewing a single widget, a tab or the full dashboard, Copilot distills key insights with ease without digging or guesswork.
Beyond the Dashboard - Explore metrics beyond what is visible. Ask about commonly used KPIs and breakdowns, even if they are not part of the current dashboard.
For more details, refer to Ads Dashboard Copilot.
Meta: New Authorization Requirements for Advertisers Targeting Singapore
To comply with Singapore’s Online Criminal Harms Act Code of Practice for E-commerce Services, Meta has introduced enhanced verification measures for advertisers targeting audiences in Singapore. In alignment with this update, Sprinklr now requires advertisers to provide beneficiary and payer information when setting up campaigns targeting Singapore. These changes aim to improve transparency around who is funding and benefiting from ads, while strengthening trust and security across the platform. For more details, refer to Beneficiary and Payer Information for regulated Countries in Meta Ads.
Meta: Destination Parity for Leads Objective
With this release, Sprinklr now supports the following destination types under the Leads objective for Facebook:
Messenger
Instant Forms & Messenger
This ensures parity with Facebook Ads Manager, expanding lead generation possibilities directly within Sprinklr. For more details, refer to Facebook and Instagram Advertising Parity.
Meta: Support for Custom Product Page for Facebook App Install Ads
Sprinklr now supports Custom Product Page / Custom Store Listing for Facebook App Install Ads. With this update, you will now have the option to enter your Custom Store Listing (Android) / Custom Product Page (iOS) when App is selected as the Creative Destination. For more details, refer to Compose Facebook App Install Campaigns.
Meta: Advantage+ Standard Enhancements Update
With Meta’s Marketing API v22.0, the platform has deprecated the bundled Advantage+ Standard Enhancements, requiring individual opt-in for each creative enhancement.
To align with this update, Sprinklr now allows you to enable or disable individual creative enhancements such as Relevant Comments, Visual Touch-ups, Text Improvements and more, instead of applying the standard bundle of creative enhancements supported earlier. You can also preview which enhancements are applied directly on the Advantage+ Creative preview screen.
Note: API previews are not available for all enhancements.
Meta: Collection Ads Usability Improvement
We have enhanced the Facebook Collection Ads experience in Sprinklr to enhance usability and ensure alignment with the native platform. As part of these updates, we have made the following changes to the Instant Experience workflow -
Removed the Edit Image option for thumbnails in an Instant Experience.
Refined the Customize Images workflow to better match the native platform’s functionality and usability.
TikTok - Deprecation of Full Inventory
Effective July 5th, 2025, TikTok will deprecate the Full Inventory option within Inventory filters. The Expanded Inventory option will replace Full Inventory as the least restrictive brand safety setting for Inventory filters. To stay aligned with TikTok’s update, we have made the following changes in Sprinklr –
The Full Inventory filter will no longer be available during Paid Initiative and Ad Set creation.
All existing Ad Sets using Full Inventory will continue to run and will be automatically migrated to Expanded Inventory by TikTok after July 5th, 2025.
All draft campaigns and One-Click Ad Buy templates using Full Inventory will be migrated to Expanded Inventory.
To ensure uninterrupted campaign performance, users must update any Auto Boost rules using Full Inventory to Expanded Inventory or an alternative setting by July 5th.
For more details, refer to TikTok Brand Safety and Suitability.
TikTok – Support for Smart+ Campaigns
Sprinklr now supports TikTok Smart+ Campaigns, an AI-powered automation solution that uses machine learning to optimize delivery outcomes with minimal manual effort. With this update, you can create and manage the following campaign types in Sprinklr –
Smart+ Web Campaigns
Smart+ Catalog Campaigns
Smart+ App Campaigns
Smart+ Leads Campaigns
Note: You can currently only provide Video asset combinations in your Smart+ campaign creatives.
TikTok – Ads Disclosure for AI Content and Creative Center
Sprinklr now supports the Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) self-disclosure option in your non-Spark ad creatives. You can enable this option to disclose AI-generated content being used in your Ads. When enabled, your ads will display the ‘Advertiser labeled as AI-generated’ disclaimer on TikTok.
Additionally, now you can also choose to showcase your ads and their performance metrics directly in the TikTok for Business Creative Center and TikTok Market Scope, giving your campaigns greater visibility and reach. This option will be available at the Advanced Configuration section of your Ad. For more details, refer to Compose TikTok Ads.
Creative Management App – New ML Engines for Audio Language and Subtitle Detection
With this release, Sprinklr enhances brand compliance checks in the Creative Management App (CMA) by adding two new ML engines - Audio Language Detection and Subtitle Presence. You can now use these engines to -
Create compliance sets during brand setup in CMA.
Filter media assets in the Asset Manager based on audio language or subtitle presence.
This enhancement will strengthen brand compliance capabilities by incorporating audio and subtitle detection, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines for video assets.
Creative Management App – ML Engine for Safe Zone Detection in Meta Stories and Reels
Sprinklr has introduced new ML engines in the Creative Management App (CMA) to align with Meta’s latest safe zone guardrail for Stories and Reels. Safe Zone helps you determine whether your content overlaps with the Reels and Stories user interface, and if it requires editing to keep the edges (top, bottom, and sides) free of key creative elements, text and logos. This helps ensure that important brand elements are within the safe zone and aren't overlapped by the Reels user interface.
The new engines added in Sprinklr -
Detect safe zones in assets for Reels and Stories.
Identify if text, logos are out of safe zone and CTA is in the defined area.
The model analyzes ad creatives and flags any key creative elements, text, and logos placed in unsafe areas, helping you ensure your content remains visually effective and compliant with Meta's ad guidelines.
Branch.io Integration
Sprinklr now integrates with Branch.io, giving you greater flexibility to leverage third-party tools within the platform. With this integration, you can access Branch.io metrics and dimensions directly in Sprinklr for deeper analysis and performance tracking.
Ads Reporting - Individual Card Data for LinkedIn Carousel Ads
With this release, Sprinklr now supports carousel breakdown for LinkedIn to stay aligned with the platform's latest updates. We’ve introduced a new dimension - LinkedIn Carousel Card Index, that groups results based on each card’s position within a carousel ad.
This enhancement allows you to view performance data at the individual card level, helping you better analyze and optimize your LinkedIn carousel ads. For more details, refer to LinkedIn Ads Reporting Dimensions.
App Custom Audience Support for Meta
Sprinklr now supports App Custom Audiences on Meta, allowing advertisers to create highly targeted audiences based on in-app user behavior.
Key capabilities include:
Custom Audience Creation is based on app events such as Installed, Purchased, Added to Cart, and more.
Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria to refine targeting and control audience composition.
Retention Period Option to define retention periods for audience membership.
Aggregation Functions for advanced segmentation (targeting the top 20% of purchasers).
With these enhancements, you can now build precise, behavior-driven audiences enabling more effective and personalized campaign targeting.
Improved Warning Logic in Audience Editing Workflow
With this release, we have enhanced the audience editing experience. The system will now display a warning message only when the audience that you are editing is applied to active, paused, or draft ad sets. This update removes unnecessary confirmation prompts, reducing friction, and making the editing process more intuitive.
Enhanced Audience Import and Export
We have improved the audience import and export experience to make it more user-friendly with the following changes -
Support for Account Channel ID: You can now import audiences using the Account Channel ID instead of the Sprinklr ID, streamlining the process and improving usability.
Ad Account Name in Exports: Audience export files now include the Ad Account Name, providing clearer context and easier data interpretation.
Improved Error Messages: The system now delivers more informative error messages during audience imports, including the reason for the error and suggested steps to resolve it, helping users troubleshoot more effectively.
Unified Brand Creation for Benchmarking and Creative Compliance in All Settings
With this release, Sprinklr has unified the brand creation process for Benchmarking and Creative Compliance brands by enabling brand setup directly within All Settings. You no longer need access to the Advertising or Insights modules to create these brands. This enhancement streamlines the brand creation and management workflow by unifying it on a single screen, making it accessible to all Sprinklr customers.
Anomaly Detection Bulk Changes Through Rule Engine
Sprinklr now enables you to customize Anomaly Detection settings such as threshold values and notification recipients, directly through the Rule Engine. This enhancement automates the configuration process and allows you to apply bulk updates to anomaly thresholds and notifications using Paid Rules, streamlining setup and management.
Import Photoshop Files Enabled in Dynamic Image Templates
You can now import Photoshop (PSD) files into Dynamic Image Templates again. This feature is being rolled out in phases and is currently in beta, so it may not be available to all customers yet. To request access, please contact your Success Manager or email us at tickets@sprinklr.com.
