Shushant Kumar is a Director of ML Engineering at Sprinklr, where he leads AI-driven innovation with a strong foundation in generative AI, large language models, data science and computer vision. His involvement with the Sprinklr blog comes in the capacity of an AI engineering subject-matter expert rather than a staff writer, and his contribution explored why some brands get cited in AI answers and others don't, reflecting his hands-on work on Generative Engine Optimization and LLM Insights. He leverages his expertise to deliver impactful AI solutions that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiencies at enterprise scale. He first interned on the Machine Learning team in 2019 before growing from Product Engineer through Senior and Lead Product Engineer to Associate Director and now Director of ML Engineering. He has led the development of Copilot architecture and agentic frameworks across Sprinklr's products, scaling adoption to 250+ enterprise customers. A Georgia Tech and NITK Surathkal graduate, he is committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in AI while fostering a collaborative, innovative team.
