Kirk Holstrom is Director of Culture and Talent Project Management at Sprinklr, an HR professional passionate about company culture, employee engagement and strategy. His involvement with the Sprinklr blog comes in the capacity of a culture and talent subject-matter expert rather than a staff writer, and his contribution uses a light, personal story, learning about work from eating pizza wrong, to reflect on collaboration and perspective in the workplace. He has worked in HR for over a decade, leading large, cross-functional and global projects across the tech, biotech and medical device and software industries. With experience at companies ranging from 300 to 6,000 employees, he is passionate about variety, collaboration and the learning that comes from working across functions and cultures. His first deep dive into cross-cultural experiences began as a high school exchange student, and he's been saying yes to new challenges ever since. A Stanford University graduate, he joined Sprinklr in 2021 and previously held people-operations and talent roles at Verily and Illumina.
