Today, Sprinklr is thrilled to announce that we’ve been working closely with Instagram to ensure our clients are able to leverage the major upgrade to the Instagram Platform API. As a result of the upgrade, Sprinklr customers can track comprehensive Instagram metrics and use them to improve their strategy, hide individual comments or disable comments altogether to reduce the risks of the comment thread spiraling into trolling territory, and better harness Instagram to connect with customers in relevant, authentic ways.
Prior to this API upgrade, Instagram metrics made available to businesses on the native platform weren’t available via API for third-party solutions like Sprinklr. Now, as one of the first Instagram partners to integrate the new capabilities Sprinklr is strengthening its position as the one-stop shop for customer experience management by helping businesses keep track of all organic content performance within Sprinklr’s CXM software. Sprinklr customers will be able to create custom metrics within Sprinklr, view demographic and audience data about their customers, and track actionable metrics on all of their Instagram posts and videos including impressions, reach, comments, saves, and views.
Many businesses have told Instagram that toxic comments discourage them from posting on the platform. With this upgrade, Sprinklr customers can easily moderate Instagram comments by hiding them or turning comments on and off – all without leaving the Sprinklr platform. With this new feature, Instagram is maintaining its commitment to keeping the platform a safe place for businesses to express themselves and share their stories with the world.
