Sprinklr Social: 20.10 Release Notes
Updated
Sprinklr Social is a powerful platform for scaling social media efforts. It offers tools for publishing, engagement, reporting, and more across multiple channels. This release introduces new capabilities designed to elevate customer experiences at every touchpoint, delivering strong business impact.
Advocacy
The following features are introduced in Advocacy for improved experience and efficiency:
Create and Manage Multiple Leaderboards through Admin Console
Sprinklr Advocacy now supports creating and managing multiple leaderboards directly from the Admin Console, eliminating the need for support tickets. This feature allows you to keep competitions fresh and boost engagement by customizing leaderboards based on time periods (e.g., monthly or quarterly contests), content categories (such as Company News), or user attributes like department. You can also control leaderboard visibility to ensure relevant audiences see the most appropriate competitions, making your advocacy program more dynamic and personalized. For more details, please refer to Multiple Leaderboards in Sprinklr Advocacy.
Displaying Original Author Name on Content Cards on the Advocacy Site
Previously, when posts were published on the advocacy site, the name of the admin who published them was not shown publicly. However, starting this release, the name of the admin (i.e., the original author or publisher) will now be displayed on the content cards.
Notes:
This change is not retroactive. Older posts will not show the author's name.
Only posts published with this release will display the name of the publishing admin.
This functionality is configurable through the Card Features section in the Content Tab of your site dashboard (look for “Author Name”). By default, the author name is enabled, check the Author name check box to disable it.
For more details, please refer to Setting up Content Tabs for the Advocacy Site.
Enhancement: Shareable via URL Option for Advocacy Posts
The new Shareable via URL option has been introduced within the Create Advocacy Post (Advocacy Publisher) to improve post accessibility and engagement. This feature allows users to share advocacy posts directly through a URL, even if the post is targeted to a limited audience segment (e.g., by interest or region).
To get this feature enabled, the Admins need to raise a support ticket. Once enabled from the backend, the “Shareable via URL” checkbox will appear in the post creation interface. This option is enabled by default once the feature is activated. When this feature is selected, users would be able to share the post with others who wouldn’t normally have access due to targeting limitations (such as region or interest group). For more details, please refer to Publishing Field Glossary(Advocacy).
Scheduling Enhancement: Consistent CTA Availability in Calendar View
In the calendar view, the Schedule Post button previously appeared only on hover and would disappear once a post was scheduled for a specific date, removing any call-to-action (CTA) for additional scheduling. With this enhancement, the Schedule Post button will now remain consistently visible at the top-right corner of each date in the calendar view, allowing users to easily schedule multiple posts for the same day. Upon clicking the button, users will be directed to the Recommended Posts modal, where they can select and click Share Post to proceed to the Share Window. This update ensures a seamless and intuitive scheduling experience.
Note: This functionality is available only on web and is not supported on mobile as of now.
Sprinklr Advocacy is Now MAS Compliant
Sprinklr has resolved key Severity 2 accessibility issues to meet Microsoft Accessibility Standards (MAS). Improvements include enhanced keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and visual accessibility. This ensures an inclusive, user-friendly experience for people of all abilities. For more details, please refer to MAS Compliant Advocacy Site.
Set Bulk Expiry for Content Lists via Inbound Rules
We have introduced a powerful new enhancement that lets you set expiry dates for entire Advocacy Content Lists directly through Inbound Rules. With this update, you no longer need to manually set expiry for individual assets - apply a single rule to expire all assets in a list at once. Simply use the new condition - Content Lists and new action - Advocacy Content Expiry Date in the Rule Engine for faster, smarter content lifecycle management. For more details, please refer to Set Bulk Expiry Dates on Content Lists Using Inbound Rules.
Channels
The following features are introduced in Channels for improved experience and efficiency:
Reintegration of Sina Weibo with Sprinklr
We are pleased to announce the re-integration of Sina Weibo into Sprinklr, enabling seamless management of your customer experience and review workflows directly from your Sprinklr platform. For more details, please refer to Sina Weibo.
Distributed
The following features are introduced in Distributed for improved experience and efficiency:
Compliance Management Feedback Loop
Previously, users were required to re-submit all profile fields for admin approval, even when only one field needed an update. With the latest enhancement to Profile Management, users can now edit and submit individual fields for approval, rather than the entire profile. Only the updated field is sent for admin review, and users can view field-specific feedback or comments from admins. This streamlined process reduces redundancy and makes the revision and approval workflow more efficient. For more details, please refer to Compliance Management Feedback Loop.
User Activation Newsletters
You can use the checkbox option Send to users who haven't logged in recently to target inactive users for newsletter delivery. This feature allows you to select a time period of 30, 60, or 90 days - based on how long users have been inactive. For more details, please refer to Automated Newsletters in Distributed.
Engagement
The following features are introduced in Engagement for improved experience and efficiency:
Edited Reviews with Version History in Sprinklr
Sprinklr now supports showing natively edited user reviews with a complete version history for Google Play Store and Google My Business (GMB) reviews. Users can view what was changed and when, using timestamps and the new Version History pane. While the latest reviews in the version history include actions like reply and assign, older versions are read-only. Support for more platforms, including the Apple App Store and X will be added in future releases. For more details, please refer to Edit GMB and Google Play Store Reviews and View Version History and Google Capabilities and Limitations.
Add Apple App Store accounts with Customer Support Role in Sprinklr
With this release, account addition with Individual Role, such as Customer Support Role, is now supported in Sprinklr. This allays any security concerns you may have had with adding Apple App Store account to Sprinklr with Admin capabilities until today. This means that the Issuer ID is now an optional field when adding an Apple App Store Connect account to Sprinklr. A new toggle button allows users to choose whether to include it, simplifying the account setup process. For more details, please refer to Add an Apple App Store in Sprinklr.
Translation Support for Dashboard Record Manager
With this release, Sprinklr has added translation support to the Engagement Dashboard (also known as the Record Manager screen). Key UI elements - including workspace strings, tags, and dashboard types—will now display in the language selected by the user. To view translations, users must set their preferred language in the Language field under User Properties.
Note: Dashboard names will continue to appear in the language they were originally created in. However, all Sprinklr labels will be translated.
Search Audience Profile using User ID / Phone Number
We have enhanced the search functionality in Audience Profiles for customers using WhatsApp or SMS channels by enabling search via User ID and Phone Number. To use this feature, users must first select the relevant Social Network using the filter at the top of the Audience Profile screen and then add the User ID and Phone Number columns through the Manage Columns option. Once added, users can easily search and locate profiles using these identifiers, streamlining contact management and improving engagement workflows across messaging channels.
Alt Text Support for Threads Media Posts
Sprinklr now supports Alt Text for media posts on Threads, including images, videos, and carousels, to enhance accessibility for visually impaired users. When Alt Text is added to a media post, Sprinklr can fetch and display it. To view the Alt Text, open the media post in the third pane and go to More options (⋯) > Media. For more details, please refer to Create a Threads Column in the Engagement Dashboard and Threads Capabilities and Limitations.
Rich Text Rendering Support for YouTube Comments
Previously, YouTube comments and replies fetched into the Sprinklr platform did not preserve the original formatting when line breaks were used in the native platform. Instead of displaying the text as entered, line breaks appeared as visible HTML tags (such as <br>), affecting readability. With this update, we've introduced support for rich text rendering in YouTube comments and replies. As a result, line breaks will now display exactly as they were typed on YouTube, maintaining the original structure and improving readability within Sprinklr.
Governance
The following features are introduced in Governance for improved experience and efficiency:
Configure Alerts for Rule Changes with Advanced Filters
Clients can now set up alerts for rule creation, updates, or deletions (Rule Engine) directly within the Alert Manager to keep track of critical configuration changes done by users on the platform. This enhancement includes workspace, rule context, and user, along with the ability to set notification frequency and manage user permissions. All alerts are automatically sent via email, with support for both internal and external recipients, ensuring targeted and effective communication. For more details, please refer to How to Create Alerts for Rule Modifications.
Publishing
The following features are introduced in Publishing for improved experience and efficiency:
Introducing Sprinklr Copilot for Social
Social Copilot continues to evolve as your intelligent assistant designed to streamline daily workflows across planning, publishing, and performance analysis. In this release, we’re introducing a series of powerful enhancements that elevate usability, accessibility, and insight delivery for Social Media Managers and Reporting Analysts. You can now ask reporting-related questions directly within the Editorial Calendar Copilot, eliminating the need to switch to the Reporting Dashboard Copilot and enabling faster, more convenient access to performance insights. Note that users must have ‘View’ permissions in Reporting; otherwise, Copilot will prompt them to request access from their admin. While these queries support general reporting data, they do not fetch answers to chart-specific (plotted) dashboard elements. In addition, the new Planner Summary capability provides a real-time, contextual overview of post distribution across dimensions like time slots, channels, and content types - dynamically adjusting to on-screen filters to surface actionable insights and optimization opportunities. Enhancing collaboration, the Share Chat feature allows users to generate a temporary link to Copilot conversations, making it easier to share insights externally with stakeholders—even those outside the Sprinklr platform. Support for Gemini and Bedrock has also been added, expanding the Copilot's generative AI capabilities. To assist users in understanding and exploring available functionalities, a Learn More button is now available within the Copilot window, linking directly to comprehensive help articles. We’ve also introduced dynamic suggestions, replacing the previously static recommendations with context-aware follow-ups that adjust based on the user's most recent query, fostering a more natural and intuitive interaction experience. Together, these updates strengthen Social Copilot's role as a central productivity hub, designed to boost efficiency, collaboration, and decision-making through intelligent automation. For more details, please refer to Social Copilot.
Note: Copilot will be generally available (GA) in version 20.10 for all clients with Gen AI enabled. It will be accessible to all users by default.
Custom Thumbnail Support in TikTok Publishing
Sprinklr now offers enhanced thumbnail selection options for TikTok video publishing. You can either select a specific frame from the uploaded video or choose a random thumbnail from their Digital Asset Manager (DAM) library. This update provides greater flexibility and control over the appearance of TikTok content. For more details, please refer to TikTok Capabilities and Limitations and Publish to TikTok Business - Sprinklr Space.
Add A/B Testing in Persona Manager
With the 20.10 release, you can add A/B Testing as a menu item in your Persona app, making it easier to experiment and optimize post performance and engagement from your persona apps. For more details, please refer to Organic Split (A/B) Testing on Sprinklr.
Edit Comments in Reddit from Sprinklr
You can now edit reddit’s brand comments directly within the Sprinklr platform. This enhancement gives you greater control and flexibility to update comments. For more details, please refer to Reddit Capabilities and Limitations.
Sprinklr Assist to Top Navigation Panel
We’ve introduced Sprinklr Assist in the Sprinklr navigation panel to instantly assist with platform-related queries using our Knowledge Base articles. It replaces the Support chat for FAQ-type questions and redirects users to raise a ticket if the issue remains unresolved or falls outside the bot’s scope. For more details, please refer to Sprinklr Assist.
