Today, Sprinklr is excited to expand our partnership with Meta by bringing Threads to our customers. During this alpha period (limited availability), we’ll be testing new capabilities including publishing, comment moderation, and reporting so that marketers are empowered to manage cross-platform campaigns, ensure governance, and gain valuable Threads insights all in Sprinklr’s unified platform. As always in any limited availability program, we’ll be testing this over the next few months to ensure that all Sprinklr customers can gain maximum value from Threads.

ICYMI, Threads is a new app announced on July 5, 2023, built by the Instagram team, for sharing text updates and joining public conversations. You log in using your Instagram account and posts can be up to 500 characters long and include links, photos, and videos up to 5 minutes in length. 

Threads Reaches More Than 130M Users

Threads now has 130 million monthly active users and is growing steadily, according to Meta’s Q4 2023 earnings announcement. The growth of Threads presents brands with a golden opportunity to broaden their reach and engage with an audience that Mark Zuckerberg predicts will likely surpass 1 billion users in just a few years. As Threads continues to evolve, brands have the chance to establish a strong presence early on, building a loyal following and staying ahead of the curve in the ever-changing landscape of social media marketing.

Communities across various industries are already establishing a robust presence on Threads. From the steady buzz around the NBA to hospitality brands like Marriott connecting with customers on everything from sweepstakes to customer service inquiries – the potential for strong customer engagement is clear.

Unifying Omnichannel Engagement with Sprinklr

Previously, brands could only post natively to Threads and could only see comments on their posts when they were natively logged into Threads. This took a significant amount of time and limited the amount of governance and reporting brands could create around Threads posts. With new Threads capabilities, brands will be able to manage publishing, comment moderation and reporting for every major social account all in one place – in Sprinklr.
